AP to D-Rose:
"My advice for him would be to just attack it. Right now, the ligament is strong enough to cut with it. Don't be hesitant. When you're out doing drills, do it as you normally would any other day. Push yourself and challenge yourself. That's the only way you'll build the strength and confidence to where it should be."

Peterson, who leads the NFL with 957 yards rushing, said "90 percent" of his rehab was mental.

"And that's what I would tell him: 'Man, you're (six months out), you're strong, you can't damage it unless a freak accident takes place," he said. "Attack it like any other day and make sure, when you're done working out, you know you've accomplished something.' "

Damnit AP, talk to RUBIO, not ROSE!

Mike Brown FIRED. Already...man, talk about overreaction. If (theoretically) he is a bad coach, you'd have known already. If he's a good coach, he'd learn from this crazy situation they have and create a successful team. Either way, this team is sunk. They are done.

There is room on the "Lakers are trash" bandwagon that CW and I have been on all summer. 2nd round of the playoffs, MAX. Absolute max.

Bwahahahahaha Mike Clown lololololol!!!

Like ya couldn't see that coming a billion miles away. One of the worst hirings in years. Too bad they might be better by default without him, but yeah... NO WAY they make it past the second round of the playoffs. I still believe................. in them not even making it!!! :silly:

I am loving this Lakers implosion. Sooooooo great. B)

Yea really. He should have never been hired in the first place. He's such a terrible coach.

I still think the Lakers are going to be really good though. They'll make it to the WCF.

OJ Mayo is ballin on the Mavs huh. 21 ppg, 50% FG, leading the league in 3 pointers made.

I knew he was way better than he looked on the dysfunctional Grizzlies.

He is freakin tearing things up for real.

Him or Harden playing as our starting SG with 35-40 minutes per game would have been absolutely amazing. Instead, we have an already hurt Roy. :( :pinch: :S
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

To be fair...Maybe they could have had Mayo, but Harden clearly wasn't an option. We all wanted Mayo though... :(

But was Harden *really* not an option??? Maybe if we would have given the Thunder a little better offer?

I doubt we could have got him. What players do we have to trade besides D-Will that OKC would want? They wanted Martin from the Rockets because he could fill Harden's spot right now and Lamb could be their future SG.

Good point. Clearly a package of D-Will and Shved would have gotten it done...

What do the Wolves have to offer them???? You are being illogical. If they had any high scoring off guards they would be offering them up for Harden.

Thought I had managed a post somewhere over here about Brown yesterday morning - maybe not.

Anyway, latest news is that they are having serious discussions with Phil about coming back. Sounds like Brian Shaw is in the wings.

LOL! As usual, DFS, I sincerely appreciate your unbiased analysis! :P

6 games into the season? I am not going to worry too much. Look how long it took Miami to get their game together.

It was interesting the the Lakers went out and made Golden State look like a community college team last night under Bernie. Of course, I think Bernie is something like 8-1 as an interim coach over the years.

Obviously, this is not a team for which defense should be their primary game. Screw that! Go out and score a bunch of points and let the other guys try to catch us!

Let's see what's going on in Jan-Feb, shall we?

(BTW, you are on the East Coast, right? How did you fare with Hurricane Sandy? You and yours OK? I do have friends in So. Carolina and they did not have much more than high winds and heavy rains. Other friends in Connecticut did not fare so well.)

Yea, Sandy didn't do much of anything here in the Carolinas. Thanks for thinking about the Daddy though.

Did I mention the Lakers are trash? CW and I are sticking to our 2nd round exit for that team.

Some feel good info, like the Milsap block on Howard.

Grizzlies destroyed the cHeat. That feels as good as a Vikings win!

scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400277812

From the highlights in that video you'll see Bayless throw Ray Allen's shit (always great to see the traitor fail), you'll see Gay completely shake Lebron, and you'll see highlights from our boy Wayne hitting SEVEN treys to get him 25 for the night!

I love me some Grizzle. Their D and grittiness goes so hard. If only they could shoot more consistently from trey land. I'm hoping they somehow, magically, rep the West in the finals. Not likely. Unless Zach Randolph returns to form and Tony Allen/Conley learn how to shoot.
