I hope all you football fans watched the game tonight! The entire game was pretty wacky, but the last 45 minutes or so was INCREDIBLE!!! What an ending... wow, I am still in awe.

I was talking to Whiskey about it, and he agrees that the \"last second FG timeout\" thing is incredibly retarded. That rule needs to be changed this offseason, asap! He said that maybe they should change it so that in the last two minutes only players ON THE FIELD can call timeouts. I would agree with that. At least it would stop coaches from whispering timeouts at the last possible second. Or, they could make a rule that if it's a game tying/winning kick you can't call a timeout after the play clock gets down to 10 seconds. They need to institute some type of rule like the above.

With that said, I'm still glad Folk made the career long 52 yarder to win the game... twice! Wow, awesome!!!

I don't know about the last minute TO's though...Jeff Fisher, who's on the competition committee, has said recently he has no problem with teams using their Timeouts in such a fashion. I think the majority of fans disagree with you Mr. Fisher. Something does need to be done...

I like your under 10 second idea CW, however I think there may be some implementation issues given the hectic nature of late game situations...someday soon a coach is going to call a TO and the kicker misses the \"practice\" one but makes the real one. I think that event might halt this phenomena for awhile...

Maybe they should change it so that only players on the field can call timeouts in the last two minutes perhaps? Or would players start doing this stuff then, as per from the orders of their coach? Argh, frustrating.
