We might be in trouble here. We're really bad on the road. I dunno, I just hope we can win somehow.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

That Cowboys game went almost too well. I'm hoping the fact that the Saints put the beat down on an Az team that whooped the Vikings grounds the team.

I thought the Vikes/Boys game was near 50/50 with an edge to the Vikings going in. I think this is closer to 60/40 to the Saints.

Our defense has been extraordinary against the Cowboys. If we can mantain such pass rush against Drew Brees we stand a chance.

Well, it's still in a dome at least. Is it just me or was our dome way louder than the Saints this past weekend?

Yeah, Czaras yer spot on about the pass rush. Last game the worry was our Offensive line, somehow that was a non-factor, hopefully that'll continue to be the case.

Should be a fun one!

We have a good chance in this one. We are the number one team for sacks. The only way we will win this one is if we pressure Brees all day because if we don't and he just have a little room, it's over for us.

But....this will be a tough one. I really hope we win......we Minnesotans and Vikings fans have suffer too much.

I don't know about you guys but Sunday's game really freaks me out. I don't know if I could take the heart break. We've been in this position and been on the losing end so many times that it's hard to envision us winning.

GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knoooooow!!!

We need this win soooo bad. Man, I can't take much more heartbreak with my beloved Vikings. As bad as the Wolves have been the past decade, the heartbreak has been even worse in my life as a Vikings fan.

I hate the thought of us going on the road for this big game. Remember playing at NY Giants and losing 41-0? I don't think it will be that bad, but I don't like our odds. The ONLY chance we have is if our pass rush is as good as it was against the Cowboys.

Going in I'd say its more like 75-25 Saints. I think they didn't care about the last few weeks of the regular season, like the Colts. They are awesome at home.

Our kick coverage was lockdown last week. If we give up great field position every series to Reggie Bush like the last time we played the Saints it is going to be a hard day.

I think the Vikings need 10 points in the first quarter. They've played so much better with a lead and I don't they'll keep the Saints under 27 points.

The one thing that scares me is this is a Primetime game and the vikings this year are 1-3 in primetime games. The game we won was us playing the packers and then after that we played horribly the other 3 so I'm actually scared out of my mind for this upcoming game.

Saints (League Ranks during Regular Season)
Total Offense - 1st
Passing Yards Per Game - 4th
Rushing Yards Per Game - 6th
Total Defense - 25th
Passing Yards Given up Per Game - 26th
Rushing Yards Given up Per Game - 21st

Vikings (League Ranks during Regular Season)
Total Offense - 5th
Passing Yards Per Game - 8th
Rushing Yards Per Game - 13th
Total Defense - 6th
Passing Yards Given up Per Game - 19th
Rushing Yards Given up Per Game - 2nd

Given these stats the Saints have the better numbers on offense, but we have better numbers on defense so our defense should be able to limit the damage the saints offense does. So I think its all going to come down to our offense dominating their defense. And special teams always come into play with Reggie Bush. I'm looking at this game to go down to last couple of minutes and possibly Overtime.

The only problem is that our secondary is not good. It's never been good. If we don't get a great pass rush Drew Brees will pick us apart and destroy us.

God I hope they win! I look at the trenches for the advantage to the Vikings. The boys offensive line is maybe the best in the league and the Aints have one solid player. If we can get a pass rush the way we did last week this game will be over quickly. Defensively there is only one player on the Saints that isnt overrated and that is Sharper but Favre doesnt throw over the middle often unless he is going for Shiancoe and he will have a linebacker on him not a safety.

What worries me is the vikings secondary. I think it is obvious to say that they suck and with Antoine 70 percent at best we will be in trouble without a relentless pass rush. That being said we can win this game if we play like last years monday night game. All they had was Bush's returns and it safe to say that Kluwe learned his lesson when he just about got cut and Chilly brought in like 9 punters on a tryout that week.

I am taking the homer way and the hope that Favre's experience and our pass rush are the difference and the vikes win. 27- 17.

I just hope we win. I don't care what the score is. Sucks that its on the road and on Prime time TV. Not a good combo for us... :(

Who would you take and who has the advantage on paper?

QB's
Brees vs. Favre

RB'S

Bush,Thomas vs. A.P., Chester

WR'S

Colston, Henderson, Meachem vs. Rice, Berrian, Harvin

TE'S

Shockey vs. Shiancoe

Oline

Dline

Linebackers

Secondary

The fallout

QB'S- Experience wise Favre has it, he has been there before so the pressure will be on Brees as much if not more than Favre. Homefield advantage and a explosive offense probably gives Brees the slight advantage overall but I feel it is a wash.

RB'S- I will take A.P. and Chester all day over Bush and co. mainly because you never know which Bush is going to show up and at least A.P is a punsihing back so even if he isnt breaking huge ones he is wearing down the dline of the saints. Chester can catch as well as Bush can but with the vikes dline I think our backs have the advantage.

WR'S- Both sides have a deep receiving core. I give this a push with the way that Rice is playing and maybe a slight advantage as Harvin can do everything that Bush can as well as run better routes.

TE's An injured Shockey vs. Shiancoe is a no brainer with the Shank special taking this head to head all the way. Vilma is overrated and even with a rookie middle linebacker for the vikes Shockey is not who he was 5 years ago.

Oline- The Vikes Oline has this one hands down.

Dline- The vikes Dline has this one all day

Linebackers- The vikes linebackers even with a rookie middle are better than Vilma and nobody's. Two of the top three tacklers are secondary for the saints.

Secondary- The saints have this with a veteran Safety and Roman Harper who is a solid tackler. CB's are a weakness on both sides with Antoine being 70 percent at best.

Looking at a paper breakdown to me it looks like the vikes have this but its football and they are on the road so anything can happen and with the Vikings nothing suprises me.
