Yea I dunno. I don't think Best made sense for us. He's had a ton of concussions, and he's not what we need anyways. We already have a gamebreaker like him in Percy Harvin. Gerhart is a big bruiser and will beat up the defenses a bit. I think they took him because he should eventually be able to play some fullback as well.

The Vikings can't really replace Chester's dump offs with Harvin because he needs to be running the mid-range slants.

It might be a good thing, in that less Chester Taylor = more Harvin, Rice, & AP (as long as he can cure his fumbilitis).

Brad Childress' playcalling is terrible. Maybe it will get a little better w/o Chester around.

I'm a sucker for a RB who runs away from would-be tacklers. Thinking back now Peterson was oddly shitty in 3rd/4th and 1 situations. Maybe Gerhart will be good there. It is odd because Peterson is unstoppable at the goal line.

Yeah, I like Best other than his concussion issues. That's not good. Gerhart could be ok, I guess. Best would have fit the Chester Taylor role much better though. Not sure we needed to take someone like Best with our first round pick however. I'm not sold on Cook though. Man, I dunno. I'm just mad we didn't get Mays, Cody, or Kindle too.

Jahvid Best is pretty much the same player as CJ Spiller, but with a ton of concussions. Not really a risk worth taking for us, especially with the new NFL concussion rules.

AP was so shitty in short yardage situations because our line is really, really, really overrated. Hutchinson is still one of the best guards in the league, but has noticably slipped a notch. I like Loadholt, he's a beast. Sullivan was ok, nothing special. McKinnie is worthless, the fact he made the ProBowl is a joke. Herrera is another weak link.

Yep...I don't know about Chris Cook, but I think Gerhart will be solid. Him and AP will just punish defenders.
