With the Eagles.

And they got Antonio Rogers-Cromartie in the Kolb trade. And they already had Asante Samuels. Dear god, their secondary is freakin insane.

Meanwhile, the Vikings have one of the worst secondaries in the history of existence. Good grief do something besides cutting really shytty players. :(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Leslie Frazier just gave Bernard Berrian a vote of confidence. There is no hope for this team.

I know, right? My god Berrian is terrible. Thank goodness for Percy. Too bad our Offensive line is still horse crap. Thank goodness we have McNabb, or else Purple Jesus would be absolutely destroyed this year by like week 6. Even then, we'll still only win like 6 games if we are lucky.

I don't think the front office has any idea what they are doing. It's sad because with a few upgrades this team could make the playoffs next year but it doesn't look they are going to sign anybody.

Our O-line is bad, McNabb/Ponder are going to get the shit beat out of them like Favre did last year. Sullivan is so horrible, he gets pushed like 5 feet into the backfield on every single play. There are some decent guys out there like Olin Kreutz who could be a decent stopgap at center. McKinnie needs to be traded and if that's not possible just cut him. We could get more effort out of an undrafted free agent. Hutch, Herrera, and Loadholt are all fine for this year.

Our receivers are beyond terrible. Percy is a slot receiver, so that means we need at least 2 other competent receivers. Who do we have? Camarillo is a 4th receiver kind of guy but could play 2nd receiver in small amounts. Berrian is the worst receiver I've ever seen. He's making over $6 million and is still on this team. The only evidence you need that our front office stinks. That Arceneaux guy they signed from the CFL is supposed to be pretty good. Jaymar Johnson, Greg Lewis, and Aramashadou are decent depth guys but nothing more.

Braylon Edwards is a douche and drops a ton of passes, I can't handle that after having to watch Berrian for 3 years. James Jones is a dropper as well, I'll pass. I wanted Mike Sims-Walker but the Rams signed him on a cheap 1 year deal (way to be on top of that one Vikes). So I'd say go for Malcolm Floyd or Randy Moss. Hey, 3rd times a charm. There's not much else out there.

Cutting Madieu Williams is addition by subtraction, but we still have the worst safeties in the league. Don't tell me Tyrell Johnson is going to start, he's almost as bad as Madieu. They should have signed someone who is decent, young, and cheap like Donte Whitner or Tanard Jackson about 3 days ago. Sigh.

Our cornerbacks also suck because Cedric Griffin will just get hurt again. That'd we sweet if they traded for Asante Samuel but who am I kidding that's never going to happen. I still have faith in Chris Cook. As long as they don't re-sign Lito Shepherd, we'll be fine :S

Linebackers are ok for now although EJ is looking a bit old and beat up these days. :( Give Erin Henderson the chance to win the OLB job. Erin and EJ both starting woot woot. Hope they don't re-sign Leber, he blows.

Awesomeugha is going to make that team one of my favorites. It's already easy to like their QB, for me anyway. I'm so excited for them to beat the Packers in the playoffs this next year.

The Vikes might not be as bad as you all think, but it's irrelevant. Detroit is better, Chicago isn't bad, and Green Bay is clearly better. The Vikes can shoot for 9 - 7, but will likely fall closer to the reverse. What logic could possibly have them competing for the playoffs?

If they fixed the OL a bit and got a receiver and safety I think a wildcard spot is attainable. The Bears are a fluky team, we could easily pass them. The Packers, Eagles, and Falcons are locks. Someone has to win the NFC West by default, I'm going with the Rams! So that means we'd most likely be battling with the Saints, Bears, and Giants for the final 2 spots. Doesn't seem that unreasonable.

But yes, as of right now they seem content to let this team be terrible and not upgrade any positions. I'm guessing 5 or 6 wins :(

That was a great recap/analysis comment RH! I gave you a Howl for it. Seems to me that you pretty much laid out things rather accurately. I don't disagree with any of it.

Also, I really wanted Mike Sims-Walker too! WTF Vikings??? We were over the cap and we STILL have Berrian at $6 million? Goddamnit that is just massive fail. I don't care that we lost Squid, Berrian blows so much. We're better without him, especially at SIX MILLION!

Malcolm Floyd is the WR we need to get now. Cut Berrian and make it happen.

I'm gonna be liking the Eagles a lot this year as well. Heck, I already liked them. Can't believe they nabbed Awesomeugha. Pfffff. Not fair.

Our front office is too retarded to do what needs to be done to make the playoffs. It's gonna be another wasted year of AP's career, which is just a damn shame. Watch his highlight videos... when all is said and done people will say he was one of the best RB's ever. And he's on OUR team! And he doesn't get injured (knock on wood. But he's only missed like 3 or 4 games in his career.) So yeah, we need to win now. I hope we don't waste AP like the Wolves with KG. Get that man some damn help.

Oh, and my prediction is 7-9 because we'll somehow win some games we shouldn't... but of course that will be after losing games we definitely should have won.

Eagles want a 3rd round pick or starting offensive lineman for Asante Samuel. Give them McKinnie :woohoo:

Samuel won't stimulate the economy like McKinnie does with his post-every-home-game-routine of frequenting strip clubs and spending thousands at restaurants getting fatter.

True. But sometimes sacrifices just must be made.

Gerhardt was actually pretty good towards the end of the year. Well about as good as a white running back can be. Give them Shiancoe instead. He's way overrated and Rudolph is going to be stealing his job in about 5 games anyways.
