The Vikings pulled off a win in OT somehow. That was a really entertaining game between crappy teams. Blair Walsh is clutch. AP and Percy are still beast. So is Kyle Rudolph, but he did have a dropped pass. Ponder had a solid game. The defense looks bad. Good teams will tear it apart.

RGIII looks like a stud, the Redskins beat the Saints in NO. Nothing else yet too interesting except the Eagles and Lions both nearly lost to crappy teams and Vick and Stafford threw like a million interceptions.

I'm liking the scab refs. They don't make any ticky tack calls and none of the bullshit pass interference/holding/unnecessary roughness calls that the normal refs love to ruin games with. I hope the regular refs never come back.

Holy shart in my pants HOW did we win that?!? Too bad it hurts our #Blowing4Barkley, but it was a nice win nontheless.

Ponder is just "mehhhh"... not a good NFL quarterback imo. Probably never will be either. Care Blair Walsh was money though. Nice to see us with (hopefully) a studly young kicker.

AP is obviously the greatest player in the history of football. What a gigantic stud. Love him.

The rest of our team though... yikes, not very good. And our defense is just sad and pathetic.

Do agree with you about the refs though. Glad they aren't calling that ticky-tacky crap. That was the worst in the past.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

#1 - First, and most importantly, Randy is still that dude. Harbaugh, quit hating. Let the Freak fly.

#2 - Can AP please become Rubio's rehab mentor? Whatever he did, do that. AP is like what would happen if Lebron played football.

#3 - Percy, do work.

#4 - Kyle Rudolph, I like it.

#5 - This team might be good enough to win 4 games, max.

#6 - AHAHAHA PACKERS!!!! Garbage. trash. 49ers are the best, Green Bay is the worst.

#7 - The Niners' D was scary good today...if they keep that up. Yikes.

#8 - Is there any scenario when the Vikings ever become good on defense again? They are getting worse, I think. Every year. Can we have Tomlin back? I'd rather watch Tyrell Johnson flail around the field.

#9 - either the Jags D-line is trash or the Vikes O line did ok.

#10 - CW is hatin, Ponder did alright. Which is what he said, so I guess he's not hatin.

I mean, Ponder is "ok"... but it just doesn't seem to me like he has "it." I mean, he's clearly no Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Stafford, Mannings, etc etc etc. And that's the type of quarterback you need to win in the NFL. I think people are kidding themselves if they ever see Ponder developing into an upper tier QB. I just can't envision it under any scenario, in all honesty.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Harvin. He and AP are clearly our two best players, and it's not even close. Big stud. Rudolph was solid, I'll admit that. Those drops sucked though.

Love the Packers loss Bwahahahahahaha. Go Niners.

We have zero playmakers on defense besides Jared Allen, and even then he's not always a factor. And our secondary... my god, let's not even go there. Still beyond putrid.

Ponders ABSOLUTE best case scenario is Joe Flacco. People are kidding themselves if they think he's going to rival Cam Newton and this new crop of playmakers.

But Paul Allen told me he's the best so he must be.

Considering how bad the teams involved were, that Vikes/Jags game was super exciting.

Blair Walsh - 1st NFL game - 55 yard FG with no time to send it into OT - 2nd longest FG in Vikings history... STUD!

Percy is so beasty. Love watching him play.

ALL DAY AP STUD KEEPER MEAST.

I fully agree with CW. Ponder may be marginally good, but he will not provide much for wins, hopefully he will be smart/solid enough to not cost us games.

I actually thought all things considered our D looked a little better than I expected. To CWolf's point, I would add Robison to the playmakers list. I guess that is it though.

Randy Moss scoring in Green Bay during a road win and pointing to his name on the back of his jersey after the touchdown was my favorite football moment of the day.

Peyton Manning, wow. How can you not just respect the hell out of that guy? Broncos might be good this year.

I got the Texans winning it all this year.

Yea I really enjoyed watching Peyton beat the Steelers last night. I'll be rooting for the Broncos for sure.

Ponder will probably never be a great or even good QB. I'm just hoping that he will be good enough to not prevent us from winning games.

Interesting fact: Matt Kalil was the guy who blocked the extra point. At the time I couldn't figure out who the hell he was because it didnt even cross my mind that it could be an o-lineman. He had 6 blocked extra points/field goals in college!

Ponder suuuucks. He's the new Captain Checkdown of the NFL. Luck is already 10 times better.

Tons of stupid penalties like usual.

Defense can't stop anything, predictable playcalling on offense.

Cameraman focuses on Frazier looking clueless and overwhelmed numerous times.

Down by 2 Tds in the 4th quarter and the offense drains the entire clock on one drive because the coaches are fyckin morons.

Once again the defense lets a team drive down the entire length of the field in less than 30 seconds at the end of the game :pinch:

Lose to the worst team in the league.

Just another Vikings game.

Yep, the Vikings were their same old boring, craptacular selves today. It was just sad, really.

I kept going to the Baltimore-Philly game because it was way more exciting football to watch.

There's really no hope for this team with Ponder at the helm. God he sucks.

And sadly, they should probably trade Jared Allen before he gets too old and his contract runs out, or they can no longer trade him for anything. I mean really, what's the point of keeping him? Our defense is so beyond atrocious. I am sure a contending team would still pay a pretty price for him.

OMG the officiating tonight has been a total shitshow. And week two has been infinitely worse than week 1, which seemed to be decent.

Yikes... not good for the NFL at all.

Yea they were noticably worse this week but I'm still alright with them so far. They've screwed up some rule things, but let's be real the NFL has like a billion rules and some of them are obscure. I think they have been pretty good job on judgement calls like holding and pass interference.

But what about when the call the wrong penalties? They are making calls that aren't even the correct penalty for the situation.

And like when they mark off the wrong yardage amounts for penalties, and when they spot the ball in the wrong place, and they screw up all kinds of other things.

I think they are pretty bad... the only thing I like more about them is their judgement (non)calls on pass interference and holding. Even then, players are already taking advantage of them, and it's starting to get out of hand.

49ers are only 8 point favorites against the Vikings this week. I know who I am placing $ on!

Percy is such a Beast. But at this rate there is no way he can play all season without getting injured. They are making him do EVERYTHING.

Also, I agree with Roundhouse - the lack of urgency in the 4th quarter was laughable. If Ponder is so "cerebral" and they love him because of his "mind", than he should be one of those QB's that can handle a hurry up offense with ease.
