Quick question, just as a matter of interest how did you choose your team? Why the TWolves what drew you to them??

In Europe you tend to inherit your team from your parents this especially occurs in soccer for example I can trace my family supporting Liverpool Football club back to 1896 four years after the club was formed (this is through old match programms held at my grandparents house. My nephews now support Liverpool although my 15 year old brother went through a Manchester United (mainly because they were winning everything) phase which we quickly knocked out of him.

I fell into the Wolves den after my brother had a scouting from the Gophers and they linked him with the Wolves as a view of "this is where you could go!!" So we watched the TWolves for a bit and I kinda fell for them for numerous reasons that I could spend ages listing but won't.

The same goes for my Mom's family, I inherited my "support" for the Astros, Cowboys, Rockets and Mavericks from her family mainly my cousins and trying to be cool and keep up with them when I was little. I went to my first Rockets game when I was 9 during a family vacation it was Rockets v Orlando NBA Final and from then on I really got into the basketball scene.

I guess I'm just curious on how you guys choose your teams is all, was there a particular player that grabbed your attention drawing you to the team or what??

Its something that I'm kind of interested in and it's be great ot hear you guys feedback if any!

I was always a fan of MN sports teams, even the ones from the U of M - Twin Cities. It was mainly because of family and where I live (central MN). The Wolves didn't get to town until I was 8, though. I liked the Gophers' men's team more than the Wolves. It was tough for me to get into the Wolves early because Bill Musselman's teams played such an ugly style and then they made all of those terrible moves that didn't work (Luc Longley for Stacey King, Pooh Richardson/Sam Mitchell for Chuck Person/Micheal Williams, etc.). I also didn't have cable at my house until 1998, so it was tough to catch their games.

Then came KG (and maybe as importantly, cable).

Since then, the Wolves have primarily been my favorite team (or co-favorite with the Twins). Even without him, they're up there with the Twins.
