I have a feeling its going to be the Rays. Baseball is completely random like that. I guess that's one good thing about the MLB, even though I really don't like it. We pretty much know for a fact that the Wolves aren't going to win the title this year. If your a baseball fan, you're team always has some sort of chance, even if it's 1%.
What I don't like about baseball is that you constantly have these big market teams making the playoffs almost every year. The Sox, Yankees(this year is the exception), both LA teams, both Chicagos... Mets almost made it... There's only those one or two spots that go to a random team like Milwaukee or Tampa Bay. You just gotta pray that when your one out of every 10 or 15 years turn comes up for the post-season that your team lucks out and wins the whole thing. I think baseball would be much better if they added another round. Let eight teams go at it, or at least six for each league. Then the small teams would feel like they had a decent shot of getting in.
We may know that the Wolves aren't going to win the whole thing, but we can at least hope for some playoff excitement. 9 times out of 10 for the smaller MLB teams, you know you won't be seeing the post-season.
