Rosen is saying that Mauer is getting a ten year deal for 200 mil. What do you guys think?

We basically have to sign Mauer no matter what the cost. If they don't, it will be the biggest slap to the face that Twins fans will have ever suffered. Especially with the new stadium and all the revenue it's supposed to bring in.

I'd pay him $300 million for 10 years if that's what it took. It's overpaying, and he wouldn't ask for that much anyways, but he needs to be a Twin his whole career.

Yeah this deal was going to happen no matter what happened because their is no way the Twins could justify not giving him the money and contract he deserves.

My buddy and i were talking about that even if Mauer got 200 million + he would be still underpaid for all the revenue he is going to bring to the twins organizations so i like the deal
