ESPN reported this story on Coach K being depicted as a Devil.

You'll notice when you read the story the word Devil is never used BUT this is the front page link to it "Newspaper sorry for depicting Coach K as devil". ESPN used devil because it is a hot button word because of religion which they can get away with because it is a pun on Blue Devils.

The phenomenon of Duke being a vilified program is well known and not controversial. Also the idea of doodling on a picture of someone you don't like is a fairly classic thing to do. It isn't remotely controversial. I would have expected this to be no skin of Coach K's back. For him to take the ultimate low road, And my seven grandkids didn't enjoy looking at it. 'It's not Poppy.', is shocking to me. He acts like the entire concept of fans hating certain schools for less than 100% valid reasons is a new concept that has just been created by the Indianapolis Star.

Yeah, that's pretty lame. Why even comment on it? The fact that they make a big deal of this just lets more people see it. I'd certainly never know about it if they hadn't made a stink.

I don't know how anybody could be offended by this. Just add it to the list of reasons to hate Duke. Yay!

Oh and Espn and shoddy reporting is nothing new. They'll never be a credible news agency.
