Wow...... 409 pages!!!

They said there would be anywhere from 50 to 90 different players named in the report.

Here are some of the players in the report so far that have been cited as using steroids:

Roger Clemens, Miguel Tejada and Andy Pettitte were named in the long-awaited Mitchell Report on Thursday, an All-Star roster linked to steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs that put a question mark -- if not an asterisk -- next to some of baseball's biggest moments.

Besides Clemens and Pettitte, other ex-Yankees named include Mike Stanton, Chuck Knoblauch and Jason Grimsley. Orioles 2B Brian Roberts also is in the report, as is Yankees and Braves postseason hero David Justice.

Other players include Mo Vaughn, Paul Lo Duca, Eric Gagne, Glenallen Hill, Gregg Zaun, Rondell White, Hal Morris, Todd Hundley, Larry Bigbie, Lenny Dykstra, David Segui, Matt Herges, Kevin Brown and Mike Lansing.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I found it to be pretty disappointing.

Clemens and Pettite are both basically done. Tejada is sort of a big name but has fallen off.

I was hoping for somebody relevant like A-Rod, Big Papi, Santana, etc. Now that would have been interesting...

Agree that it was disappointing. However, it's honestly just the tip of the iceberg. Mitchell only interviewed like 2 steroid distribution rings. There is NO WAY that this is everyone. Not even close. Plus, it's mostly just people that were stupid enough to leave a paper trail. I bet tons of players filtered the money and the steroid shipping address through associates. At least, that's what I would have done...

This is what I had been talking about all year whenever Barry Bonds kept getting trampled on by everybody. Everyone in the media and elsewhere was acting all holy and blackballing BBonds, when THERE WERE SOO MANY GUYS DOING THE SAME DAMN THING. Now lets see if Clemens gets tarnished and ripped on like Barry has been FOREVER. I highly doubt it. Media members don't like Barry, and he also happens to be the best at what he does, so he is the scapegoat, and it's not right. I'm not neccesarily playing the race card, but then again, I'm not neccesarily NOT playing the race card either. And I don't usually play the race card. Regardless, Bonds has taken way too much crap for steroid use compared to McGwire, Sosa, Clemens, Palmerio, Pettite, and the hundreds of other dudes that have used steroids. It's not right.

Completely agree 100000%. What a JOKE. They better go after some of these guys like they did Bonds, but I doubt it will happen. I think it's mostly because Bonds is such a bad \"public figure\" in that he doesn't like giving interviews, is mean/grumpy, etc... Maybe a little race card going on, but I don't think that is the main thing by any means. Bonds and Vick are major scapegoats in both instances.
