Here's a great article published before the fight tonight. MMA fans gotta check this out:

In regards to UFC 118 overall, Wow... that MMA vs. Boxing "fight" was just pure trash. This was the worst UFC PPV of the year, by far. I can't believe they were billing Couture-Toney as a co-main event. What a joke. Don't get me wrong, I love the UFC and the PPV's, but this was just rubbish. Toney didn't stand a chance and didn't even throw a punch. How sad. He was clearly setup to fail here.

I honestly feel bad for anyone that bet on him as a 8 to 1 underdog. I'd have needed at least 15 to 1 odds (MINIMUM) to bet Toney in this fight. Even then, I'd have cringed while placing any sort of bet on Toney...

The rest of the fights were "blah" at best. Penn just looks done. He never did anything and clearly deserved to lose. How sad. And he's supposed to be the best Lightweight ever?!?

Maia was good, but dominated a much lesser opponent. It was disappointing he couldn't submit him.

I thought Florian would win, but ehhhhh... he sucked.

Boring. At least I watched it for free at Majors. That's always a good time.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

If it was any one of us in there, we would of been able to last about as long a James Toney...well maybe not as long but maybe we would of been able to throw a couple more punches. The fight was a joke from the start.

To make it fair..Randy Couture should go into the right with James Toney. Now that would be more interesting.
