For the first time in years, I am legitimately excited to watch a Gophers basketball game on television tonight. Why?

- The Timberwolves are so horrific, so I want to watch a Minnesota squad play hard, play team basketball, and play good defense from start to finish for once.

- Tubby has this team playing better than they have in years.

- I have yet to see Blake H. and Al N. play college ball yet.

- Indiana is ranked #10 in the nation.

- The line in todays STrib was a PICK?!?!?!?!?!?!?

- Gordon - potential top 5 pick. leading the big ten in scoring and other stats as well.

- It's actually on TV!


Anyone else watching? If you watched, thoughts/reaction/opinions on any of the aforementioned subjects?

I'm stoked to watch it too. Can't wait to scout out Gordon. That's pretty crazy that the Gophers are on ESPN!

I don't even remember the last time I've been excited to watch the Gophers... Wow.

Lame. We definitely should have won that game. Sigh, especially with their studs in foul trouble nearly the entire game. Tolllllackson killed us on the free throw line. Oh well it was still a good game, but it would have been a great win for the Tubster.

Yeah, that was a helluva game though. It really is too bad that we lost - I mean Indy had 26 turnovers! Taaaalackson cracks me up with his fired up antics...Al Nolen is awesome...Blake-boy looked worse on all non-shooting aspects of his game than I thought he would...Damien plays some nasty D...McKenzie shouldnt shoot so many jumpers with that bad hand of his...I LOVED the crowd and the fire and the persona Tubby brings...I really wish I could watch more games!
