Jimmy King was easier to understand and relate to.

It was wrong of Rose to say that about Grant Hill and Duke, but he was only 18 at the time and with his background, it was easy to get angry at players like Grant Hill and how they grew up because of the stuff Jalen Rose went through growing up. Also, they were playing Duke for the championship at the time so it's pretty easy to hate the other team.

I'm not saying that Jalen Rose has the right to say what he said, I think he is completely wrong to say something that harsh then. What I'm saying is that seeing him on ESPN and ABC doing games now, he doesn't seem like he is like that anymore. I like what Steve A. Smith said, he said that when Jalen Rose said that in the documentary, it's not like he is saying that now, Jalen Rose was just giving everyone the insight into how he feel then and he shouldn't be condemn for what was said 20 years ago.

That's just my take and mostly I agree with what Steve A. Smith said in the radio interview that you could listen to on that link.

Yeah... I'm not getting too worked up about this at all. I think Grant Hill overreacted sending that big editorial letter in response, to be honest. I mean, they were just stupid off-hand comments by a teenage KID over 20 years ago. He's clearly not like that now. I think the media is overreacting again. That's their job.

Yea, just a bad comment by a kid. Now if Jalen Rose said that today, there would be a problem.
