Have you guys read the Yahoo! Sports investigative piece about Miami yet? (Here it is if you haven't) Holy hell. So much for cleaning up the program's image.

Nevin Shapiro wants The U to go up in flames with him. That's fantastic. Of course, the NCAA doesn't have the guts to give the Canes the death penalty since they're not really serious about cleaning up college athletics. I'd like to see it happen though. The U turned a blind eye to it all and the NCAA needs to make them pay dearly or this type of thing will continue to happen all around college athletics (although probably to a lesser extent than this). You would think that programs would have learned from SMU, but apparently it's time for another wake up call. Unfortunately, that call will never come. The NCAA is such a joke.

I was shocked when I didn't see Bryant McKinnie on the list. That was probably the most surprising part of the story for me. I guess he must have graduated before this all went down though.

Miami definitely deserves the Death Penalty that SMU got. But you are right, it most likely won't happen.
