I guess that everyone is quite happy that he did NOT watch the fight. I have not seen I and would not even had if I could (I did not even check), because I don't care that much about boxing in the first place and especially not about heavywweights to get up this early in the morning. IMO, there's not much more about it than two more ore less immovable mountains of flesh (hopefully more muscle than fat) beat each other until one doesn't get up again...
...BOOOOORING!
If I watch boxing, I prefer middle- and cruiserweight fights. There is still enough punch in them to hope for the occasional knock out, but the fight itself is more about dynamic, movement and boxings technique than just about \"who beats the other guy senseless first?\".
But as far as I have read this morning, the fight must have been even more boring than I would have expected. Klitchko did exactly what he had to do to win, but absolutely nothing more. Keeping his shorter opponent on distance with his long left...jab, I think although from what I read, it was more \"grabing than jabing\" and using his right hammer only in the very few occasions where it posed absolutely no risk.
Audience was booing the last four rounds...hey, at least they know how to do it in the Garden. Just a normal sports evening in New York, I'd say. Lousy performance, booing audience...
I wonder if anyone had some \"fire Isiah\" signs with him...
