Hey Everyone,

The idea was brought up to do a countdown to the season starting 10 days before, where we'd feature a different Wolves player every day. We need 10 articles to make this work so we'd like some volunteers in addition to the ones written by the regular columnists. Here's who we'll be featuring:

Jefferson - WhiskeyDizzy
Foye - MWithers
Davis
Corey Brewer's Baby Afro - Liston
Smith
Gomes - CW
Green - CW
McCants - MWithers
Hassell - Bonk
Telfair

Right now, four spots remain open. If you'd like to volunteer to cover one of the players (cough, cough Bonk, cough Hassell) you can make it known in this thread. Thanks!

I'll do another one, just give me whoever noone wants to write about...so I'm guessing I'll be doing an article on Telfair.

eeeehm...well...hmmmm...do you seriously think this is a good idea?

You certainly would want to keep a high quality level of your atricles, both from a linguistic standpoint as with regards to the content. And in both categories, I do no know if I was the guy able to keep up to those standarts...you know, being from Germany and stuff.

But there are some examples of what I can and what I can't write to be found in this forum by now, so if you say you could live with the risk, I would feel honored to contribute.

What would I have to write about?

I am more than willing to write about Craig Smith because he is my favorite T-Wolf...I'm not sure how informative it would be, but it would probably be entertaining to read.

I don't think there is any really set \"way\" that you have to write these. However, they should probably be positive (at least mostly.)

For example, for mine... I'll do an introduction, then talk a little about their rise to the NBA (high school and college), and then the teams they played for in the past (the C's for mine), and then how they will contribute to the Wolves.

It will probably be easier to write about the guys already on the Wolves.

Nice to see you getting involved Bonk!!! If anyone was gonna do Hassell's, I knew you'd be the man for the job.

Sanyarin, I realize that there might be a few errors due to the language barrier, but you are very good at expressing your thoughts from what I've seen on the board. I could always do some editing and make corrections if there were mistakes, so if you want to write the article, it's yours.

I know both Bonk and Whiskey offered to do an extra one, so whichever of you wants to do it can. I could also do it, but I have plenty on my plate as it is, so I'll give you guys first crack at it.

I also echo the sentiment that I think Sanyarin is perfectly capable of writing the Telfair article. It wouldn't be a probelm at all for myself or Derok to proofread, and just help out/edit the little things to fix any minor problems with the English structure.

I'll do Smith...tell me when you want the article, how long you want it and if someone else does theirs I can get an example.

That should give you a pretty good example of what's going on. Obviously it doesn't have to be exactly the same, and feel free to infuse your humor into it.

As for a date. I believe we were going to start about 10 days before the season starts, posting one article per day. Not sure if that counts weekends (probably not.) So... expect to have it done by mid to late October or so.
