Jay, (Minneapolis, MN): Hi John, Are the T-wolves the biggest unknown in the West this year? How do you think they pan out? A playoff team perhaps?

John Hollinger: (12:16 PM ET ) They're a known. We know they'll stink. We just don't know which of the individual players will pan out and which will fail, though we can reliably guess that all of them will receive six-year, $37 million extensions from McHale.

Jason (Madison, WI): Are the Wolves going to be able to turn Ricky Davis into a Rafer Alston, Carlos Arroyo, or Jason Williams and be able to package Jaric or Blount with Davis, or am I just dreaming?

John Hollinger: (1:04 PM ET ) That's the idea, with Davis and one of the dead weight contracts to Miami for Doleac and Williams being the most workable pairing. However, I think Riley wants to exhaust all options before going that rout. He already traded Davis once (straight-up for Chris Gatling, no less) and I'm not sure he's much of a fan.
