Hey everyone!

As you can see I've upgraded the sites forum to one that's more compatible with the site's engine. I think that once you get familiar with the new layout, you'll find that it's easier to use and has some cool features that the old board didn't have.

The biggest plus is that you now only have to register once to be able to use both the site and the forum. I think this will go a long way in attracting new posters as it's a much simpler process. The upgrade also allows the latest posts to be displayed on the site's front page, which should also allow your posts to be seen by more people.

There are still a few details to work out, like installing a private messaging system. That's in the works, as well as some other new features.

You can still access the old forum at www.twolvesblog.com/oldforum We had a lost of good discussions on that board and I want us to be able to go back and reference them. So while it's no longer the primary forum, it's not completely gone.

I hope you like the new site. Once you get past the initial adjustment phase, I'm sure that you'll like the upgrade. If you have any problems or notice anything that needs to be fixed, feel free to let me know in this thread.

Whoa... gonna take a little getting used to, but I like it. At least I think I do. I'm really glad that we can still go to the \"OldForum\", which is very nice.

Hopefully this boosts the traffic a bit.

Anyway you can simply start my post count at like 3,000 and call it fair?

Is there not going to be a \"Help\" forum anymore?

I also like to express my exitement over the new forum. I looks very clean and more functional than the old one. Great work!

But of course I am more open to the change since I do not have much to loose (see College Wolf's post counter ).

Since there is no \"Help Thread\", yet - I'll post this edit.

Maybe I am too dumb or something's wrong with my machine, but the boxes that are supposed to include quotes (using the quote /quote command - in brackets, of course) seem to only appear in the preview of my posts, but not in the actual submitted one.

WOW! The new forum looks really sharp!! I'm still getting used to the new site and probably will have questions, is there any way to get a help forum put up like CW was talking about?? I'm sure others would find it useful as well.

To address some of the issues...

I'll get a Help Forum up and running soon. That's not a problem.

As of right now I haven't come across any way to do polls. That was the one thing I noticed this board didn't have compared to the old one, except the private messaging which I will install once I figure out which system will work the best for us.

I don't think you can delete a post unless you're a moderator. I'll get you your promotion soon CW. I also don't think I can manipulate the post counts, otherwise I'd get everyone up to date. I'll recheck that though.

I was kinda joking about updating my post count... but on second thought it would kinda cool lol. Then I'd never have to worry again about anyone catching me!

If anyone needs anything deleted, umm.... just edit your message to say: \"please delete\" at the bottom and I (or Derok) can delete it for you. I think that's pretty much all we can do at the moment.
