A few quick thoughts so that I can go to bed (it's 2AM)...
- McCants. I know, I don't like him. I don't hate him, but I'm not high on him either. He scored a bunch of points, but that's about it. People that watched the game should (hopefully) be able to realize that he took a lot of terrible shots and had way too many turnovers. He's scoring because of the void of scorers on our team. Don't think I'm hating because I could be completely irrational right now and say a lot of worse things about him.
- Our team. We looked good. It was awesome that we led most of the way. However, I think we were playing above our heads and I don't expect us to lead that long for many games this season. I'm not being negative, just realistic. We hit a lot of 3's, and I'm not sure we can keep that up.
- Jefferson. Stud. Reason I've got him on my Western Conference Only Keeper Auction team. Too bad our team is largely incapable of making an entry pass to him.
- Gomes. Played awesome minus a few bad shots in the fourth quarter. Great defense too.
- Gerald Green - Shocked he didn't make it off the bench. Wow.
- Fatoine Walker - Wow. Please tell him not to shoot.
- Marko - Were we really trying to play him at PG? Disaster waiting to happen.
- Brewer - definitely had the \"Deer-in-headlights\" look. I'm not hating, just pointint it out. Give him time though, he's a rookie and it was his first \"real game.\"
- If I were the other team I'd double Big Al every time he touches the ball. Bonk doesn't agree, but who else will score? Stop Al and we are screwed.
It was an exciting game nonetheless and I can't wait to watch these guys the rest of the season!
