Whittman might want to consult with his old Hawks teammate Doc Rivers. Doc was an absolute expert excuse maker for Gerald Green, Bassy, and Co. last season.

As someone that has followed the Celtics the past few seasons, I know what you are saying.

Too bad for us that Wittman isn't as personable with the media, or as eloquent of an excuse maker as Rivers is.
