With game one on Friday night, and having bought the league pass i'll be watching it. It will be a trying viewing, not seing either KG or Mad Dog playing. It will also be the first time viewing a t-wolves game without number 21 on the court. I never saw a game without KG, living in co i never got any of the games, before KG. I am looking foward to Theo playing Telfair playing who i hope starts, and Big Al. But it just wont be the same damnit. You can say it however you want, trading KG was a huge loss. The team lost who they were, their identiy if you will. I still believe they should have resigned him at any cost. I honestly believe we also lost Howard, because of trading KG. Yes we got Big al n Ratty, but at what cost? Losing KG. If you ask me, it wasnt worth it. But yes, i will still wear my KG jersey and my T-Wolves hoodie, with pride. I will still be a fan,I always will. Just like I will still be a Yankee fan without A-rod and Joe Toree (who the wolves should still hire as their coach, whats the worst that could happen?)

opening night line up
Starter Bench Reserve Inactive
C Theo Ratliff
PF Al Jefferson-- i rather have Walker start becuase i like him better, but i think Al will do very good..
SF Ryan Gomes
SG Corey Brewer
PG Sebastian Telfair --say what you want bout him, but i believe he is going to do a very good job.

If any NBA team was ever going to sign a coach from a different sport (aka Joe Torre like you suggested), it would definitely be the T-Wolves... Or maybe the Knicks. One of those two teams for sure.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I gotta agree with you Maddog, I think Telfair could be a nice suprise this year too. If they start Marko at point over him, I will be upset. I like what Marko can offer the team to an extent...AS A SWINGMAN. As a point guard, he is horrible. Didn't our management learn this 2years ago? Did they really forget? The difference between Telfair & Jaric at point this preseason was day & night. Hopefully they make the right decision tomorrow.

No doubt. I agree with you both.

Marko is an ideal 6th man on a decent team.

Starting PG...? Not so much.

If by 6th man you mean 7th or 8th man I'd agree with your post. Especially since once Foye returns I'd guess Marko drops to the 9th man on this team.

Agreed that he shouldn't play on our team... but on a good veteran team he'd be a decent 6th man, capable of playing the 1,2, or 3 off the bench.
