Hey guys,

While surfing NBA.com, I noticed a banner ad for EA Sports' Jersey Creator. It's actually a pretty cool site that lets you design your own NBA jersey. While messing around with the Wolves, I managed to come up with a few designs of my own. I wouldn't want any of these to replace the ones we actually have, but I think they're a cool twist that might be decent if the team wore them for one \"special\" game.

Anyway, I was wondering what other people could come up with and thought it might be fun to have a little competition. All you have to do is simply go to the site www.easports.com/nbalive08/jerseycreatorcontest.jsp and make your jersey. Once it's created, use your \"Print Screen\" button to capture the screen, paste it into Paint, crop the picture, save it, and then attach the image to a post in this thread. Once we've gotten everyone's entries, I can make a front-page post as well as a poll for people to vote on the winner. You can enter as many jerseys as you'd like.

I dont' know, maybe this is really lame. But I thought it was cool. I'm interested to see what you guys come up with. Here are my three from today.

Honestly, I like our jersey's the way they are. I know many people won't agree with that however...

With that said, I really like the Third jersey you created. Pretty cool stuff. I wouldn't mind having it as an alternate jersey or something of that nature.

2. I like this idea. Imo, this thread is absolutely not stupid.

3. But I am...stupid that is. I somehow believed your designs would be published imediately and I would be able to grab the picture from there. But nooooo \"pushlishing takes 1-5 days\". Narf!

So a hint to everybody who also wants to do a design (to clarify DeROK's how-to): Grab you picture BEFORE publishing it. There is no \"final view\" of your product as soon as you have used the \"publish\" function. So better grab your image while still in the editor, otherwise you'll have to way a few days...like me.

I'd like the Black one more if it didn't have that moon on it. It looks out of place.

I know this is because this whole \"design your jersey thing\" is sponsored by adidas, but what I dislike about every jersey designed with this editor is, that they are all of this \"modern\" kind of jerseys with broader shoulders and some sort of v-neck. I really like the \"old\" kind, which Minnesota still wears. I would really regret if they changed that to this new form.

Besides...is it still an offcial rule in the NBA that you jersey has to be tucked into your shorts, only it is not enforced anymore? Or is it a binding rule only for teams coached by Jerry Sloan?

Because if it was, It would not make much sense putting to much design stuff low on the jersey (like the trees on DeROK's black one), because those parts would be hidden by the shorts...if the rule was enforced, I mean.

Yeah, I got fooled by the publish thing as well. Thankfully, I already copied the image. My guess is that they do it that way for screening so people can't write a curse word as the name on the back of the jersey.

i definatly think the wolves should have changed their jerseys with the departure of Garnett. the cavs and nuggets did it when the brought in Lebron and Melo.

Those fraggers from EA are obviously NOT upping my creations. Not that I was overly proud of 'em, but I wasted one and a half hour of my life on those and I want at least the reward of public ridicule. Consider me pissed!

Thank you very much for your compassion, DeROK. Having taken another look on the website, I figured that it says...

\"best designs will be published in 1-5 days\"

so I guess mine are not considered \"best\". I could live with that, because I would not consider them \"best\" either. But compared to the mostly just plain UGLY designs that HAVE been published on the site, I consider this pretty much an insult! Especially with regard to the T-Wolves, where I think the competition to be very few compared to the Lakers, Boston or new York.
