We're on the road. Who's gonna stop Curry and Randolph down low? Jefferson can't do it alone (and he's only about an average defender as is.) It could be rough...

With that said, I still think it will be close.

PREDICTION:

Wolves 93 - Knicks 96
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Another reason I wish Mad Dog was healthy, to help with D.

Personally id have the line up look like this

C-Theo
PF- Big Al
SF-Walker
SG-Gomes
PG-Buckner

Start it as a bigger team. Yes I know Gomes is listed as a foward, but ive seen him play a 2guard before and do a good job. Buckner is also a better defensive guard, who can shoot. I think this lineup will help very much so.

Wish I could watch the game, but Pats/Colts is taking priority

Same. I'll probably flip back and forth...it's looking like Indy/NE is going to go down to the wire. Surprised at what a defensive battle it's been. Still, definitely looking forward to getting a second look at the Pups.

I'm watching the Pats/Colts game on tv and Minny on my computer. Impresssive first quarter opening by the Pups.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Craig Smith's got hops!

I love these T-Wolves and their efforts! No Quit in them. :)

By the way, I am also reading what some are saying in the Wolves forum at REALGM and some of them are saying that \"..hopefully, Jaric and Walker's minutes are reduced sooner rather than later...\"

Now Jaric, I can understand....but So far, Walker has not taken a shot whatsoever all game, he did not committ any mistakes.....and yet these fans don't want to give Walker a chance. *sigh*

I guess I\"m just asking for an ulcer if I'm reading REALGM.

Whittman gets the blame for this loss.

Why does he bring in Walker late when he hardly has played at all???

That was not a good decision by Whittman. You had Buckner, McCants and even Telfair who were in the flow of the game and could've and SHOULD'VE taken that last shot....

It was a TERRIBLE decision to let Walker take that shot. McCants was fouled out, but Gomes and Buckner was in much better shape to take that shot. I don't know if the play was designed to Walker or Bassy just threw it to him as a sign of respect (bah), but either way, it was a bad call.

And what the heck happened with all those fouls??

I actually caught myself thinking: \"Oh, that poor Marko Jaric. He actually looks like he's really trying hard. And everyone just hates him anyway.\"

I couldn't help feeling sorry for the guy. Maybe it's because he's related to one of my buddies or just plain emphasis, but maybe we should cut him some slack, even though he plays like a box of s***!

LOL!

By the way, even if Bassy passed to Walker as a sign of respect, the decision(and ultimately loss) of Whittman putting Walker out there is the reason why we are not playing 5 more minutes of b-ball at MSG.

Well it was a fun game to watch even though we came up short in the end. Props & Howl to CW for a great score prediction...

I am very pleased with the PG play by Telfair in the first 2 games. He is doing exactly what he should - not trying to do too much but providing a good pure point guard presence.

McCants - Way to foul out in less than 22 minutes. Way to go. I thought he actually had a real solid 1st half too.

Walkers last shot -AAAAAAAAAAUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Big Al - How can you not love him? His post moves are automatic, and he is garnering double teams a majority of the time.

Buckner - I thought he played GREAT tonite.

Didn't catch the game because I couldn't watch the Pats game live and it had TiVo priority. But two developing trends are...

Wittman blowing games by putting Walker in late

And Jefferson getting double-teamed. We are in serious need of another threat to draw them off him. I'm guessing he'd be up in the 24's/25's if he wasn't constantly guarded the way he is.

Yeah, good points all around. I agree with you. We are exciting to watch, at least we've got that going for us.

Telfair is exceeding my expectations. Gomes is not exceeding them because I already expected him to play amazing. So, he is simply playing great as expected. ;)

I thought McCants played decent. Better than the first game. It was rough that he fouled out though. Really, in 22 minutes?!?! He's a guard. geez.

Big Al is a stud. Told you at the game last Friday that every team was going to double him like crazy. There is no reason not to. I would double him every time.

Walkers last shot is on Wittman, not so much Walker. He puts him in cold after not playing most of the game or even taking a shot. I hope to God he didn't draw up that play for Walker, but I wouldn't doubt it if he did. ARGH.

It wouldn't surprise me if we led the league in \"Fouls Committed\" this season. Lots of hacking, reaching, and overly average defense... at best.
