With that said, I dunno. I haven't seen much of Orlando in this young season. I think Howard will own us downlow and will cause some problems for Big Al on the defensive end. Who guards Rashard Lewis? Gomes I guess? Gomes is a very good defender, but that won't be an easy assignment.

Our team puts forth a lot of effort and energy, but I think we'll lose for some reason... even though we are at home.


PREDICTION:

Wolves 91 - Magic 95

First off, From now on....Whenever Wittman does something stupid again, we should all refer to him as Randy NITWIT-man.

Now that said, if he wants Walker to get some action, he shouldn't be sitting him for entire second halfs and then bringing him in, telling him to shoot a 3 as if he was Reggie f'n Miller or something.

And even then...Gomes, McCants, and Telfair could shoot the 3 better. Walker's strengths lie in his ballhandling AND his ability to take the ball past his man from the perimeter into the paint(drawing defenders) & either kicking it out to an open shooter or dishing inside for a layup.

He's also not too shabby in the post where he could find cutters or back his man down for shot attempt(although he gets mixed results these days but at least they're better shots than those errant threes he attempts).


Anyway, enough about Walker and let's hope the Refs would start to respect this team a bit more. I mean the last two games, free-throw-wise, have been an absolute JOKE. I mean I know we are a young team but these guys are not exactly Rookies(save for a couple) here. The wolves deserved a better fate than what they got. Had the calls for Free throws been even for the TWolves, we could be 2-0 right now.

Agreed. I try not to let that worry me though, as there is nothing I can personally do about it. My blood pressure gets high enough as is without worrying about the idiotic refs. Hopefully the law of averages kicks in and the calls even out over the course of the season.

It's CW's birthday, I think Orlando is over-rated, we have played hard & kept it close in both games, we are at home, I'm predicting a win (for once)!

Walker had his best game thus far today.

Of course, that's not saying much. LOL.


And also, I believe that NITWIT-man needs to play Walker more minutes in the 1st 3 quarters and play him little-to-no minutes in the 4th. Even in his '06 Championship year, Pat Riley kept Walker out in late-game situations(late in the 4th quarter)....

I pray that McCants's ankle is better by the next game....And I also believe that this team needs more shooters.....

Walker should not play more. He should play less. He was horrible last night.

As horrible as the previous game? C'mon...The man did have 5 rebounds and a couple of assists plus he got to the Free Throw line and actually converted.

I'd say it's one of his better games which pretty much tells how bad things are.....
