Who do you think is better now, and who do you think we should draft if we have the #1 pick?

I like them both and haven't settled on one yet.

Thoughts?

Personally, I'm more of a Rose fan. I think OJ is over-hyped.

Of course, I'm basing this on:

- what I read in SLAM
- youtube highlights on the internet
- what I read on the web

So, like most of us, I haven't really seen them play much real ball....therefore, it is hard to draw a real concrete & fair opinion.

Yeah, we'll probably find out a lot more once they start playing college ball. (Rose is a freshmen, right? I know nothing about prospects or college, just the NBA.) Being able to assess players at the college level for a year is a good thing. I'm glad they changed that rule.

I'm really not sure about any of the prospects this year. We have 3 first rounders this year though.

That's right - 3 first rounders. That's a MAJOR change for us. However, we'd better trade them away because keeping them will be useless. We've already got a loaded roster and there isn't room for three more rookies.

Hopefully the deadline or offseason will provide us with the blockbuster trade we're poised for.

Yeah, I'd like to keep our first round pick, and then deal either one or both of the other ones that we have.

The draft should be pretty good (based on ome things I've seen), but I don't think it'll be all that deep.

I wonder what we could get for two first rounders this season. Maybe just get first round picks in a later year?

Also, does anybody know if we can give the Clippers either the Celtics' or Heat's pick? That'd be nice to get that out of the way, and not have to give them one of ours.

I agree that we've got to trade them or something, because there is no way we can bring THREE more rookies onto this squad next season. There is no way that will happen, or would even be conducive to solidfying a rotation and pecking order.

Anyhow, I would cite the same reasons you listed, and I've also seen some game highlights this year. I really like what Rose is doing in Memphis.
