Artest will be back. Even though this will be at home I don't think that really matters too much. Until we figure out how to even the free throw gap and cut down on our own personal fouls, we don't have much of a chance regardless of who we are playing.

Artest is underrated due to everyone being down on him because of his issues off the court. He's really a great player and one of the best defenders in the league.


PREDICTION:

Wolves 97 - Kings 101

I'll be live blogging this one on the main page...Artest's return should make for an interesting storyline. If I had to make a prediction, I'd say we'll be 0-6 at the end of the night...could definitely go either way, though, and I expect another close game.

Good points. I really hope we win, but I just don't see it happening with the return of Artest. Sigh.

Anyways great to have a win finally..

It was great to get the Twolves in the win column but I couldn't imagine a more excruciating last 1:15 of a game than that. The strategy with an 8 point lead to just give the Kings uncontested 3's and freebie layups was killing me. To make it worse the announcers were declaring the game over saying the wolves will win with 45 seconds left trying the jinx the heck out of the team.

That game could have been over with 4 possessions sooner if the Wolves had the ability to just play some defense without fouling. Though I will admit that the refs were more than willing to call a ridicules foul on Albus Jeff at the end against Kevin Martin under the basket.

McCants played good though, I'm not too stubborn to admit it. I could nitpick, but there's no point making enemies. Hope he can keep it up. The Wolves really need a scorer like him.

Game was pretty slow at first, but we played well in the second half.

Our defense was bad to horrible at times. We still had too many dumb fouls. Our rebounding was solid though overall.

As usual they didn't feed Al enough down low. On that note, the majority of our players are TERRIBLE at trying to make an entry pass into the low post. It was nice to see Al get mad about it.

Attendence listed at 11,656 (or something close) on ESPN.com and NBA.com. I would guess there was *maybe* 9,000 people there. Possibly the worst attendence I have personably ever seen for a regular season game at any NBA basketball arena.
