Wolves 85 - Hornets 97

It sounds bad, but I totally have no problem with the 1-6 record. I'm not supporting tanking, but a top pick this year will send us over the edge.

The nice part is, we're not being blown out. We're in every game, the team plays very well for stretches, and we just lose it in the 4th. It's easy to see that with Foye and another Top pick, this team is going to be able to win a lot of basketball games next year.

I agree with you Derek. I'm not upset over our record, and I don't think I will get upset with it. We've done a lot of good things, haven't had Randy, and young teams lose games the way we have.

I'm not going to root for us to lose, but a high pick would be nice this year. There are about 5 guys I'd take, and with McCants, Al, and Randy plus a pick and the other decent young guys, we could be a contender in a short period of time.

After what just occured, I'm wishing for Foye to have a VERY SPEEDY RECOVERY. This was just Plain Bad tonight.

Just like last game, the Wolves had a Decent First half, and then completely blew chunks the 2nd. Can't NITWIT-man make adjustments, too like the opposing Head Coach seems to do???

Al Jefferson had his usual Monster game but Shad had one of his worst tonight. Had he had his normal game, We might have been able to pull it off.

Walker came back down to earth a bit tonight, though he still managed to score in double figures and grab 7 boards(4 of them offensive) at least. Plus, he didn't start Jacking up 3's like crazy either though he and Shad let the team in total 3's launched(with 3)....


We outrebounded this Hornets team - 44 to 33 but the key stat is this :

TURNOVERS - Wolves 16 Hornets 4

I think if we cut down on the turnovers, we might have had a shot. *sigh*

Why isn't Gomes starting? Ummm... he's by far one of the most complete players on our team. Brewer is nowhere near startworthy (yet.) He had a horrid game.

The one thing I was really excited about after attending this game was the play of Sebastian. He played great and I am really enjoying his game so far this year.

Also, Big Al is rock solid in the post, and Marco had another pretty solid game as the starting PG.

As far as the negatives...well, there are too many to name, I'll just end it at that.

why bother listing the negatives, BonK? They'll only give you ulcers...
