Wow. What a game. I just got done watching it. (Thanks DVR!) I was tempted to turn it off at halftime, but I kept going. The second half was very enjoyable and the Wolves looked very good. Did they finally find a lineup that will work out for them??? Big Al, Craig Smith, Brewer, Jaric, and Telfair/McCants seemed to be really working at the end. Too bad Joe Johnson nailed that dagger to win it. Oh well.
- Brewer was awesome. He looked much more comfortable and less anxious out there tonight. How about the 18 rebounds and no turnovers? Wow, he was really playing well. What you don't see in the boxscore was that he was all over the court rebounding and on defense. There might be hope for him yet. His shooting is still suspect and he went 3-15 tonight.
- Jefferson was off shooting, again. He picked up in the second half though. Personally, I think he might be a lot more injured than he is letting on. He said in the papers today that he's healthy, but he doesn't look as explosive as he did earlier this season... nor is he taking it to the rim enough.
- McCants played well for the most part, even though he had limited minutes. I liked that he was less apt to take shots and instead passing the ball to the open man and facilitating the offense. Good work.
- What was the point of starting Buckner? He did nothing. What about the Youth. Movement.
- Craig Smith played well downlow. His FG% has been through the roof the past few games.
- Marko played awesome coming back from injury! Almost dropped a triple double. We really needed him tonight. God, I can't believe I just said that.
- Joe Johnson. Deadly. So underrated.
- Josh Smith is a athletic speciman. What a beast. 7 blocks, sick!
- The free throw disparity this season is absolutely ridiculous. 37 to 14 in favor of Atlanta??? I mean, I know there are big differences every now and then, but it's every game! Granted, some of it is our fault for all the stupid, idiotic touch fouls we commit... but still, we get screwed on a lot of calls (or lack thereof.)
