It was announced today that Randy Wittman would possibly undergo back surgery tomorrow. It was discovered by doctors today after Wittman was experiencing pain that he did not have a backbone. \"He's pretty much spineless\" reported Dr Hank Dithers, back surgeon from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. \"I don't know how he stood erect\" he reported.
Apparantly Wittman will have one of two choices in surgery, he can either have a titanium spine installed or a swine spine. If he chooses a titanium spine he will have the surgery immediatly. The only backside is that he will not be able to sit or lay down any more and will have to stand up the rest of his life. If he chooses the swine spine he will have to be put on a waiting list. Also the pig must be of the same blood type as Randy.
\"The refs will think I am always upset if I can't sit down\" Wittman was reported as stating,\" \"but I think I'd rather stand up than have a pig back\"!
