Everytime the Wolves win a game I go and predict that we'll win the next game and start our first winning streak. And then they invariably lose and I look like an idiot. Oh well, I'll still pick us to win... I'm still feeling good from the Phoenix game.

PREDICTION:

Wolves 103 - Wizards 99
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Coming off a wonderful win vrs one of the best teams hopefuly will boost the moral. I hope it does, and the wolves will get another win.

Good news is that if we do win, we won't have lost any positioning with Seattle for Derrick Rose. We can now cheer without thinking about slipping a spot!

I'm gonna say Washington beats us in a nail-biter, 108-105.

The Wiz won't score over 100. Brewer will put the clamps on Butler, and Jamison will be worn down from getting hooped by Big AL.

Wolves 97 Wiz 93

Loosing is never a good thing. I don't care what the lottery offers. Positioning ourselves for a top lottery pick this early is a sickening thought. Go Wolves!

When you're 3-15 and 30th place in the league, you have to think about the lottery. It's the one glimmering hope we have at the moment. I'm not advocating a tank job at all, but keeping that in mind does numb the pain of losing this much.

I agree. I don't see any problem looking at and/or discussing draft picks when we are easily the worst team in the league (record wise.) I still want us to win, but more often than not we won't. I also want us to win the lottery. Typically these things would be mutually exclusive, but not quite as much in this case.

Good thing you didn't provide a picture of yourself, huh? :P

But seriously....I think this is a young team that just suffered from a Big Victory HANGOVER and thus were still congratulating themselves on the win against Phoenix and were not prepared for the Wiz.

Nice to see Cookie Monster almost single-handedly devour the Wiz tonight, though....But that's about it.

Like usual, some positives and some negatives:

BOXSCORE

I agree that it was probably a case of a big win hangover. Well... and also the fact that we just aren't that good.

Great game Craig, way to go dude!

Agree with you on the Toine part, too. ;)

You know he means well....He's just an inherently-wacky NBA player with an inherently-wacky game.

It's pretty wacky, if you ask me. :P
