Theo Ratliff begins light shooting drills

Theo Ratliff got a third opinion on his mysteriously ailing knee on Wednesday, and was recommended a treatment and practice regiment to tighten the ligaments in his knee. Ratliff said he is hopeful that he won't need exploratory arthroscopic surgery to determine the injury and fix the knee.
\"Definitely a relief,\" Ratliff said. \"There's no timetable. I'm going to take it day by day...I'm able to shoot a bit and jump a bit, so that's encouraging.\" Ratliff should be a fantasy afterthought until we actually see him play a couple of games. Dec. 1 - 10:27 am et
