Gasol couldn't do anything against Darko the entire game.

-Rubio is a HUGE stud

-So it Tony Allen 8-8 FG 4-4 FT :woohoo:

-Mayo had 2 coldblooded clutch shots in the 4th

-Beasley had a rough night

-Rubio makes Randolph look way better than he really is

-The offense bogs down really badly when Darko is in the game. But the thing is, it's not Darko's fault. He's in there to play defense and did a really good job against Gasol. The reason the offense stalls is because Ellington & Wes are complete nonfactors at SG. It's so embarrassing when the best "shooting guard" on your team is Luke Ridnour. I'm so jealous of Allen/Mayo.

-The difference in the game was free throws. Grizzlies 21-25 Wolves 13-24

Darko couldn't do anything against Gasol either though. I meant on offense... Darko always acts like he doesn't know what to do when Gasol is guarding him.

I think Darko stopped Darko on offense. He missed at least 3 easy shots that I saw. But still I'll gladly take a 1-6 shooting night from Darko when he holds one of the best centers in the league to 6 points on 3-11 shooting.

free throws lost us another game sadly. we beat the heat and grizz with making a few more free throws (at least during crunch time).

wes looked really really bad. i think beasley's finger is a problem for him. o

ur defense looks quite good, but our offense struggled most of the night.

we really need a playmaking SG....i really hope jj gets healthy soon, that should help :(

darko looks good this year, except when the ball is actually in his hands.....

yet again rubio to williams will be a top 10 play. wish williams would start playing a little more min a night.

i love that tolliver plays consistant min, but his one turnover late in the game was a BIG mistake.

rubio looked in control all game, i was expecting him to be good, but man i am impressed! he seems like a great guy too, i love how he talked about he didnt like the fans chanting rubio cuz there are other guys on the team, very mature.

Welcome everyone....

Im with you all I can't stand watching wes anymore, its pathetic, what good is a shooting guard if he can't shoot. Even if he could create his shot, I don't see him getting any better. I mean he is already like 25 if im right. We ought to just start ridnour at the two and start rubio. Alsocant wait for jj to get back. It be nice to dwill could play the 3 with love at 4. I am impressed with darko though, its nice to actually see some d being played...I was beggining to forget what that was!

Damn, Another one of these games...It really makes me feel like shit to lose such close, competitive games, when you should win them...TURNOVERS and MISSED FREE THROWS..Can we get this shit together? It's killing us...And what the hell is with Beasley and this one on one garbage...He turns the ball over more than he puts it in the hoop...The point guards get him in perfect position to shoot and he just had to dribble and Iso himself...It's really annoying...The next 3 games are must wins...It's a soft part of the schedule and the team needs to prove they can win on the road against bad teams...These 3 games will determine a lot

Yeah, Rubio's defense really isn't very good. He gets lost a bit out there. And he is pretty slow compared to all the other super athletic, ultra fast PG's in the NBA.

But I'm not complaining too much, everything else about Ricky rocks!
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Stupid loss.

Can't understand in these losses why we are missing free throws on our own court. That's a killer in these close games.
Thanks for all these game updates, a huge HOWL to you Tod Murphy!

Totally agree. That was a great game from Darko. We don't need him doing anything on offense anyways.

Damnit. We could/should have won that game. We could seriously have like 4 wins (or more) right now! Ughghghgghghgh frustrating.

Well, we obviously lost because of our 17 turnovers and only going 13 of 24 from the free throw line (BRUTAL.) What a tough way to lose a 4 point game that we should have won.

It didn't take long for Wes Johnson to go back to being a total bag of crap. He's worthless and should not be playing. Kahn should have traded him immediately after his last game.

IF WE HAD A REAL SG WE COULD POSSIBLY BE UNDEFEATED RIGHT NOW!!!

Rubio4ROY. He is so awesome.

I don't mind Ricky's defense as much as many of you..He moves his feet very well. Yeah, he's not that quick, but he makes some nice plays out there...He's got a lot he can improve upon granted, but he does come up with some nice steals and he took a nice charge tonight...I fear for his life against D-Rose coming up though

Yep, good point about our upcoming games. Unfortunately they are on the road where we have typically struggled in the past. I guess we'll see what this young team is made of very soon.

Yup, honestly, I know it is quite early in the season to be talking about must wins, but I think these next 3 games are. They would put us at 5-4 with a home game against Los Bulls. You have to beat Cleveland at home, that's a given. Washington is terrible home or away and the Raptors are dangerous but you have to be able to beat them on the road too. (DeRozan is a stud and Bargnani is playing the best of his career) You can't be a good team in this league without beating the bad teams on the road. Sure, against the good teams you'll struggle, but these next 3 are just so important to the season. Have to win all 3

I think Adelman don't want an agresive defense of Ricky Rubio. Rubio is rookie and if he defends as in the Barça, he'll have a lot of faults every match.
