Oh man I feel bad for Flip, his staff, and the fans. This Wizards team is the worst.

I can't tell you more than three players that I would like on the wolves. Booker, McGee, and Wall (Not counting Vesely, this is his first game). Nick Young does not have a positive impact. Blatche does not have a positive impact. Obviously Jan Vesely is their hope to replace Blatche. I hope he's a good player because that franchise is in trouble. If they get the #1 pick again (nevermind, NO has that wrapped up) who do they pick? Davis? Where does he fit? They need a wing badly, like the Wolves.

I've seen a couple of plays where Rubio and Ridnour hinder each other

Yup. Sure do. Rubio can't play off the ball, he's not a scorer.

In other news, it appears Kevin Love will be getting a max contract offer by the deadline

Interesting stat: While Ricky Rubio is on the court this year, the Wolves are +48 as a team. With Luke Ridnour they are -19.

While there is still time for things to happen, Lamb, Lamb, Rivers, and Barnes look to be solid NBA wings.

My hope is that if we are going to do nothing this year at the deadline, at least we consolidate our picks, package Pekovic and the rights to Sgranpo Sporjegjpaorei (or whoever) and trade into the late lottery where one of those guys (most likely one of the Lambs) will be available at a bargain.

Throw Kidd-Gilchrist in there as well, though who knows if he'll declare with the possibility of being a top 3-5 pick in 2013.

This draft is so stacked. The Wizards could use any of the top guys.

I didn't realize how awful the Wizards are. They look like the Wolves from the past 3 years. I hate to say it but Flip needs to be fired. It doesn't look like anyone on that team listens to him except Wall. They play without any discipline. Where was Rashard Lewis? Is he hurt or something? They have no veteran presence on that team just like the wolves. Blatche is a huge cancer. They need to get rid of him ASAP. Get rid of Nick Young as well. I wouldn't mind Young on the wolves because we are so desperate for a SG and he wouldn't get to shoot at much as he does on the Wizards. He's definitely no prize catch though. Beasley for Young straight up.

D-Charge was on fire from deep again.

Rubio is a huge stud. It pains me to watch when he and Ridnour are in the game together and Ridnour brings the ball up while Rubio stands in the corner? How does this make any sense at all? Rubio is one of the best pure PGs in the league and Ridnour is one of the best shooters. It's completely ass backwards. And I'm not even hating on Ridnour, he has been solid as of late.

As soon as Darko left the game in the 3rd quarter because of foul trouble, the very next play Wall drove for an uncontested dunk. The next play after that, he drove for a layup and got fouled. Darko can look really bad sometimes, but he is very much needed on this team.

Also awhile ago I said Ellington is the worst player on this team. I was wrong. He is simply not very good. Wes is the worst player on this team. My god how did he get drafted 4th overall? What a waste of a draft pick.

Wellington's Wally Z two-handed jumper was wet today, son. I know it was only one game, but do you all understand now that whether you play Wes at your imaginary "2" or "3" he's unfortunately over-matched?

Yes for a 4th overall pick who was supposed to be the "safe" pick Wes is shockingly bad at the game of basketball. At least Ellington is just a late round shooting specialist who can't shoot 9 out of 10 games. Wes and Foye are exhibit A and B on why you don't draft guys who are old enough to be going through a midlife crisis.

Real quick: Rubio Dwill and Klove are players.

Wes is absolutely terrible. No more hope for him. I saw him take about 3 dribbles all game and he almost lost all 3 of them.

Definitely think Tolliver should get good minutes every game. he just does a lot on the floor and can bury a shot if needed.

For the Spurs game, we broke that long 16-game losing streak. I posted that the last time KG and the crew beat the Spurs was the last game I went to at Target Center.

Today I was watching the game online with Wizards broadcast. They mentioned that the Wolves had lost seven straight at Washington, last winning on Dec. 12, 2003.

I had to say, "Hey, when did I go see Flip, KG, Sam I Am and Spree in D.C.?" (Of course, Flip and Sam there again today!)

I checked my photos and it was that 2003 game! I remember losses in DC, but still had no idea we had lost 7 in a row there. Glad that is over.

Wolves wore black that night, too.

Wes' first free throws, 1-2.

He charged over John Wall with his head down on what was clearly an out of control charge. He's 6'8 and got to the lane with one dribble. How has he not learned a simple sidestep, a jump stop, or the Lebron-crab-step?

Another thing that made me mad on this play was that it was on a break and Wes went to the corner and Love ran right to the block. Wes took that one dribble and headed right toward where Love had run to. I couldn't help but think -- now is when you go to the hole?

Also, it was kind of funny that he took one dribble and I honestly thought he was done for the night with how he landed on hip. That's why he missed that first free throw. He was hurtin'

I really don't get why Wes is going to be good at SF when he sucks at the SG spot. I mean is he really going to be in a much different spot on the court for his shots? He's still not going to be handling the ball and driving. He can't drive, so it only means he ends up with a bigger defender on him. Maybe he is better on the defensive end guarding 3's. I don't know. It looks like it just comes down to whether or not he can play or not and he just doesn't have it right now. Wes, Beas and AR have mental issues right now and I really don't care if they play or get dumped. I just don't see why anyone would want them and certainly wouldn't give up a starter or legit player for them. Wonder how much longer Adelman is going to stand for those guys.

The hypothesis is that at small forward Wes will match up favorably on defense with most players and on offense he can use speed and athleticism. He'd be in position to get more rebounds as well. Most of this is moot though because Wes has threepointlineaphobia (fear of crossing the 3 point line on a basketball court) and is really not all that great at defense in addition to his horrid offensive production.
