Guess I'll post the same comment here as I did on the front page
How do we end up with JJ Redick, Brandon Rush (both of whom are playing really well) and an unprotected Warriors 1st round pick for Luke Ridnour and a bunch of garbage? Not to mention that Orlando is getting massively ripped off and would never ever ever do this trade.

The 2nd trade is way too complicated. A 3 team trade where each team trades a third of their roster is not going to happen.

I do like the idea of getting Redick or Hedo though. I think it's more likely if a version of the original Magic/Nets trade is going down (Lopez and 2 1st round picks for Howard & Hedo) and for agreeing to take Hedo we end up with Redick as well. Maybe send Beasley, Webster, and Pek to Orlando (aka a bunch of young guys with short contracts).

See my notes on the front page. I threw together the trades more randomly than maybe I should have. That said, the idea of jumping in on a NJN or GSW to Orlando trade is about as good a chance as we will have to acquire a real SG in my opinion. The question should not be whether we will get someone besides Hedo ('s awful contract) but rather who we will get and whether we need to take on Hedo's contract to get that player or if we have enough to add to the trade without taking on awful contracts.

I threw out a couple more ideas. What say you?
