In all seriousness, McGee's dumb plays don't mean that his game is represented by those plays. Wizards fans don't hate him.

Anyway, In advance of the Clippers-Hawks game, Josh Smith will hopefully be traded to the Wolves, much to the delight of Clippers fans who knew Smoov would expose Griffin.

McGee has talent that is only matched by his lack of a brain. $14 Million... per YEAR? Ninja, please.

:pinch:

My bad.

Still, McGee thinks he is *that* good?
Look at the contracts that players around the league get in the NBA. Can't say I blame him...

After Howard, Bynum, and Tyson Chandler (1-3 in that order) the next best Center is probably Marc Gasol then maybe someone like Gortat. Gortat is much better than McGee in almost every conceivable way other than highlight real dunks and raw unused athleticism.

So Howard, Bynum, and Chandler make cash in the $14+ range. Gasol makes about $13 million and is WAY better than McGee. Gortat makes like $6-7 Million. Pekovic (bound to get a big raise in 2 years) makes even less. If McGee had said "I'm looking to get a 5 year deal worth $30-35 Million" I'd say, well that's aggressive. But $14 Million per year? Nuts.

McGee has no clue.

Is there a significant difference between Javale McGee, Ryan Hollins, or Anthony Randolph? If Birdman wasn't white and covered in tats, would he be the exact same player as those three?

Alex Kennedy ‏ @AlexKennedyNBA

A lot of trades are being held up by the inclusion of a first-round pick. This is a great draft class and teams are valuing draft picks.

Alex Kennedy tweeted this and I just thought it's funny and sad that the year when it's a great draft class, the Wolves will likely have no 1st round picks. Utah probably won't make the playoffs, so won't get their pick this year. Watch next year when have 3 first round picks(ours, utahs, and memphis) the draft will be one of the weakest.

Once again the NBA draft screws us.

That's how it goes... :( :( :(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

If he would have said, "I want DeAndre Jordan money" that I could understand. DAJ has set the market for young, athletic, shotblocking centers. To me, that would say he's confident that he's as good as DAJ and wants to be paid in the same range. Jordan makes $10 million a year, comes with none of the baggage of McGee, and is actually a good defender as opposed to just being a shotblocker. The fact that McGee wants $14 million a year is just so ridiculous. I wouldn't go anywhere near signing him unless it was for about half that amount.

The fact that he thinks he is getting that amount lowers the number for me, to be honest.

Before he said this? $7 Million, okay. Now? $5 Million, tops. He's a malcontent in training unless he turns his sh*t around.

This is doubly amusing right after Nick Young pulled this same garbage and ended up settling for 30% of his asking price on a 1 year deal.

Guess what boys. Teams with 3 good players win.

The market for DeAndre was bullish and he got $10. I don't see how JaVale gets more or even equal.

Also everyone agrees that DAJ is an athletic player, good defender, and likable guy. Everyone agrees that Javale McGee is an athletic player, talented dunker, and total rockhead.

Also, Sam Young just got traded for the rights to Ricky Sanchez. WTF? Where are you Kahn? Sam Young is good, cheap, and still relatively young (26).

You see where my Lakers picked up Ramon Sessions for Luke Walton? (Well, there was more to the deal . . . )

Trying to catch up, but it appears that Kahn didn't do anything?

I know I didn't defend him. I said McHale was worse, but Kahn is clearly proven his total worthlessness this past year, and now at the trade deadline.

The fact that he couldn't make a single move is utterly pathetic.
