Unless we can package Wes in a trade he needs to go to the D-League to see if he can play. I am not so sure he can even be successful at the level. He is currently no help to the T-Wolves so why not Sioux fall?

Agreed, D League him so he can get some confidence and learn something.

How is being unable to hit the broad side of a South Dakota barn going to build his confidence? Sorry, Wes...

Wes has the 8th worst PER in the league out of 318 players. The only players he is ahead of are Rasual Butler, Brian Cardinal!, Shawne Williams, Matt Carroll, Jamaal Magloire, Brian Cook, and Austin Daye who amazingly has a negative PER. In addition, Ellington is 16th worst an Beasley 27th :S

NEED A TRADE NOW

I would love for him to be sent down and have him shoot 15 for 30 fg,GET TO THE RIM and score 40. IF he can't do that, then sign whoever does that in the D-League. This team needs a SG that can 1)Shoot 2)Get to the rim 3)get fouled 4)shoot free throws 5)put opposing teams in the penalty. Besides an occassional DWILL Dunk ,Rubio's is this teams best slasher to the basket. Webster will be an upgrade at SG, but I really don't se him being aggressive around the rim in his fragile state.

Wes played all night with Rubio. Got set up numerous times for wide open 3's. Shot 1 for 8 from 3 pt land. It was not good. What is this guy's problem?

Wes should have given Rubio a 12-12 night, but Rubio instead ended up with 9 assists.

It would actually be awesome if he seriously had a phobia of crossing the 3 pt line once he touched the ball or something. We could definitely hire him a sports psychiatrist and make a reality show out of this.

I seriously don't understand how/why he doesn't dunk several times a game. If he had not shot 1/8 from 3 pt line tonight, he would have had a nice little 6 point, 9 rebound outing with 60% shooting, 1 turnover, and 1 block. Seriously, I know you guys all think we could have gotten the next coming of D-Wade with our 4th pick in a 2 player draft, but I would be happy with 60% shooting, no mistakes, and good rebounding from Wes. I would be really happy.

Other than the overexcited launching from 3 point land, it doesn't look like a bad game from him on paper at least.

Meanwhile Meeks just dropped 26 for Philly which tells me now is the time to call them up and dangle Williams for Turner. Makes so much sense for us positionally...

And makes no sense for them. I wish it was easy to trade bad players for good players.

Philadelphia has no depth up front, and Williams will be good.

There are MN crazies that think he's much better than Turner. Irrational high draft pick overvalue syndrome. Still, They get an extra year on the rookie scale and less positional redundancy themselves (Iguodala is basically the same player as Turner, only older and maybe a bit better).

The general consensus was that it was a 4 player draft (Wall, Turner, Favors, Cousins) and Kahn basically announced to the entire NBA a week before the draft that he was going to take Wes. Major FUBAR. I don't know that many people who actually wanted Cousins (lots of talk about trading up for Turner or Favors), but we could have easily drafted him and taken the best offer from SAC, GS, or DET who were all hot after him and still ended up with Wes. Fail.

Spencer Hawes is playing out of his mind, Elton Brand is solid and is the veteran rock of that team, Nikola Vucevic is quietly having a really good year, and Thaddeus Young plays a lot of PF and is one of the best bench players in the league.

With all that said, I think Philly could be tempted to do a D-Charge for Turner deal with other things thrown in.
