The prototypical kryptonite for Love - opposing big men who are as strong or stronger, quicker, and who operate on the low block offensively. Milsap, Griffin, Zach Randolph, etc. I don't know what Love can do to conquer this beast. His game is relentless garbage pail work down low coupled with 3's that he can't get off with a defender on him because he can't jump. A team who has multiple guys to match those two components of his game will stifle him often. Not only does Utah have the bigs to stifle him offensively, they have the exact player he can't guard...Paul Milsap. Kevin Love, if you want to REALLY be the best PF in the game, I suggest you hand Hakeem or Tim Duncan a sh*t load of cash this off-season and ask them to Miyagi you into an offensive beast on the post. Additionally, I suggest you lock yourself in a room with one of the coaches for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, and just watch defensive clips of KG, Rasheed, Tim Duncan, Perkins, Chuck Hayes, etc.
Great post and very solid K-Lav sentiments.
Also, Love is shooting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many 3's this year. Yeah, it's cool that he is a PF who can make 3's, but he's letting it distract from what makes him a good player.
He's shooting 35% from 3, and 41% overall this year. Brutal. He's also attempting FIVE 3's per game. That is way too much from someone who is shooting poorly. He'd be much better off if he learned some post moves, as Daddy said.
