Why the hatred for Wes? He played sick and did alright. No need to hate on him for that. Obviously his season has been poor so far, but with the exception of last night, he's been playing more like a real basketball player lately, from what I've seen. He remembered that panic jumpshots are not the only option when receiving the ball on the perimeter.
I didn't watch last night but I'm not putting a ton of stock into last night's performance, which, given 17 minutes, I would take. If you double his minutes and he kept playing like that, he would have given 10 points, 8 rebs, 2 blocks and 4 steals. That's a solid game for a roleplayer. We know he's not Kobe. We should all be over it and hoping he continues to play alright, whether for the sake of long term contribution or for the sake of trade value.
I know T-Wolves history has been awful to say the least, but as WW noted we should be getting past the cynicism at this point. We need to add a couple pieces, no doubt- but no use bitching about the pieces we have. "They are who we thought they were."
I meant to come on here and give credit where it appears to be due. His confidence is miles higher than it's been. He has appeared to add value at times during the games. Most importantly his shot, at least over the past handful of games, has finally looked better than DFS's flat, no rotation jump shot.
