Kahn will ride Rubio & Adelman's coattails for at least 2 more years. And he's willing to work for dirt cheap (compared to other GMs) so of course Glen loves him. Sadly I think he's here to stay

I didn't even bitch about this deal. I said I'd rather have Love on 3 years than 5. But seriously even terrible GMs (KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN) can make this move. They shouldn't get credit for the no-brainers.

We have a chance to extend both Love and Rubio before they expire, whether it's Kahn or someone else making the move. Frankly I feel like Ricky just wants to get paid well but isn't in it for the money. He's in it to win it.

All in all I'm a bit diveded, `bout this deal. Actually you can argue, that it's debattable, that a not really good defender get's a max contract anyway. But on the other hand: Melo, Joe Johnson and Russel Westbrook also get's paid the max, even there not top players... And actually I prefer Love over all of this 3... By far...
And then again, it's great, that Loves here for 3 years, but after that 3rd year, what's happening then?? By the way: by when does he have to take his option? Is this still in the 3rd season or afterwards?

My problem, further, in general is: If you wan't to become a contender, it's not enough to get only to the playoffs... And to become a contender, much has to happen!!
