In what may be surprising to some, Denver is quietly plummeting in the standings, now out of the playoff rankings! They are 2-8 in the last 10 and have lost 3 in a row. If the Wolves win in Denver tonight, they will pull ahead of the Nuggets! Wolves play better on the road than at home. They had a very tough OT game that went late in OKC last night. This is a perfectly winnable game that 3 weeks ago seemed like a dreaded opponent. Forget the injuries!

Will be a fun one to watch. Always enjoyable to see an opponent with a lot of Wolves connections. And even more satisfying to see Denver, Portland and Utah hemorrhage losses of late. These next 2 games are extremely important standings-wise. If all goes well, the Wolves will end up 2nd in the division by the end of the week!
