Timmy Hard-a-way!!!! You don't know sh*t about Timmy. FYI, if you're gay he hates you soooo much. Which, although not anywhere near my wheelhouse of hatred (I reserve that for people like the Kim Jon il's), makes me chuckle. Ehh, I really don't care how strange or garbage or plain dumb these guys are off the court, long as they putting in work when the ball tip off. Except guys who f*ck 13 year olds suck (Mailman).

Did D-Charge suck his freshman year? I only watched him his second year, which he clearly didn't suck in. I'd rather watch Wes play in that game because he doesn't look like Joe Camel.

Did u say Kim Jon il?? i bet you never heard of Kim Jong illah.

some espn gold:

Kevin Love knows something about dunking. He does most of his dirty work inside for Minnesota, but he got to show off his outside touch on Saturday night.

Love beat out Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant to win the 3-Point Shootout. The former UCLA star was consistent throughout, but had to survive a tiebreaker in the first round and sweat out the last few shots from Durant to pull out the 17-14 victory in the final.

Love is in the middle of a breakout year for Minnesota, averaging 25 points and 9.9 rebounds a game. But he also has connected on 49 of 141 3-point attempts for the Timberwolves.

"You know, I'm a guy that loves to rebound the ball, a guy that loves to play inside, really a physical player," Love said. "But for me, coming into the league, I was told not to shoot 3-point shots, so to be where I am now and continue to work on my game; I think this definitely speaks to my versatility. I think I'll just continue to improve year in and year out."

so the dunk contest sucked, a lot.....worst ever??

williams first 2 dunks were decent, 2nd being the best. but that was painful to watch on his final dunk......

at least klove won the 3pt contest, that was pretty cool!

it is cool to see twolves all over the allstar weekend, kinda fun.

rubio shines, klove shines, derrick in the dunk contest, now klove allstar game mvp? we can only hope :)

That's actually the AP article. Brilliant fact-checking.

In case others are like me and didn't watch the dumb contest, here are D-Charge's dunks.

The problem with saving your best dunk for last is that your legs don't allow for it. Vince Carter was A) half-amazing and B.) poised enough/confident enough to not miss a million dunks before he made his amazing ones. D-Charge was tired, anxious, and intimidated by the time he started missing like crazy.

Back when Daddy used to throw the rock down with authority from 9th-11th grade (knees and ankles gave out after that. Now I can only do the Lisa Leslie dunk, barely) I was complete trash after going sky high for about five minutes straight. I can't imagine Williams had enough in the tank for that dunk.

They should lower the hoop to 9 feet and have every sub-six foot player in the league enter. Barea, Nate Rob, Kemba, etc.

Hahahahaha wow. That's tuuuuurrible.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I also love how they talk about Love knowing something about dunking. I think i've seen Love dunk the ball at most 5 times in his career. Got the article from ESPN, didn't see that it was from AP

That dunk contest sucked. Evans, D-Will, & Paul George each had one nice dunk but the whole thing was so dumb. About half the dunks were just having someone stand out there and jump over them. Get some star players back in the contest or just get rid of it completely.

Yeah, agreed. From the highlights I saw, looks like I didn't miss too much. I think part of the problem is there just isn't a ton left for people to do that is original. Evans' dunk with the two balls was tight, but even then JaVale did that last year (and on 2 hoops!)

They need the best of the best athletically for the dunk contest, otherwise it will just keep floundering, and probably get even worse. :(

K-Lav had better all-star game stats then I would have thought. How did he look out on the court, for anyone that watched it? Last year he looked totally out-matched compared to all the super athletic all-star athletes running around.

Was it different/better this time around?

He looked terrific... 18 minutes 17 points 7 rebounds and 3 assists...Certainly wasn't outmatched, even had a slam dunk that was highlight worthy if not for all the other crazy ass dunks that were going down..In my eyes, he shoulda been out there to close, but Brooks was playing his boys like it was a Thunder game or something... and Blake was hogging the PF spot even though he had a -13 rating compared to a +16 for Love
