Seems like Kahn is intent on trading Beasley, so now just keep Ridnour and trade Beas for a SG. His contract might make it a bit tougher, but there's got to be deal out there somewhere.
Well the Celtics like Beasley, but what do they have to offer?...I'd like to think they would say hell no to giving us Allen, but it is the end of his contract with no plan of re-signing him, so at least they would be getting SOMETHING for him...Probably would require a lot more than Beasley though, Some picks, some other shit
Beasley + Randolph + Memphis pick would work. Not a bad trade for Boston if they give up on the season, they probably wouldn't do it otherwise though.
Yeah. I like it and would do that for sure. Even though Allen is still awesome, there is probably little chance Boston is going to get a good offer for Ray at his age. Just won't happen. He is probably perfectly acquirable, honestly, if we want him.
It's just a risk because he is going to be a free agent.
Might be worth that package anyways even if he were to leave.
Definitely a "risk" we SHOULD take, no doubt. Beasley and AR are going to be free agents anyways. Ray Ray is one of the best SG's in the history of the NBA, and he's someone we desperately need. We need his 3pt shooting and leadership. We need him, bottom line. Ridnour is perfect as our third guard, backing up Rubio and Ray.
Plus we're in the playoffs right now, so we might as well do everything we can. Ray increases our chances of having a good season/playoffs exponentially.
