Yea that was pretty bad. Jim Pete seems to have gotten off the booze and is back into annoying homer mode from the past few years. I don't know if it's just because they are trying to sell season tickets right now or what, but him and Hanny make excuses for everything.
The funny thing is that besides that ridiculous comment, Collison actually was the only player doing a good job of defending Love. Then Scotty Brooks basically went with Westbrook/Fisher/Harden/Durant/Ibaka for most of the 4th quarter and OTs. Fail.
Tolliver and Webster have an anti-clutch gene. If you leave them in at the end of a close game they are guaranteed to do something monumentally stupid.
The bolded above = all very true comments. Scotty Brooks is overrated as a coach. He's just "average" at best, like most NBA coaches. Obviously he'll win games with that loaded team.
Lastly, I can't believe Fisher played that much?!?! His 2-11 from the field and atrocious defense was KILLING them. They would have won the game waaaaay sooner without him playing so much. He should get like 10 minutes per game max as a backup PG.
Even worse, Hanney and Jim Pete would not shut the hell up about Fisher last night and how great he is, how he shouldn't stop shooting, how he'll make those shots during the clutch in huge games and blah blah blah. God it was absolutely sickening. Did OKC pay him to shill for their team or something?
