That game was just horrible. It was like I had to keep pep talking myself into even paying attention. Embarassing.

The only semi-positive thing this did is prevent the Warriors from keeping their draft pick. Now they will have to surrender it to the Jazz....oh wait, the Jazz are a division rival and now will have the 8th pick in the draft potentially because of this loss.

I wish I cared less.

Anyone have any thoughts on JJ Barea's comments after the game? www.startribune.com/sports/blogs/On_the_Wolves.html

WallyWorld or others: Were you at the game? How bad was the atmosphere/apathy/attendence?

So now an already good (and quickly rebuilt!!!) Utah team will get a Top 10 pick in a loaded draft. And we obviously do not have a pick in this loaded lottery. We still might not even get Utah's mid round pick.

Good grief, devastating. :(

But the Jazz are currently the 8th seed and a game ahead of Pheonix. I think we could get the Jazz pick and it will totally save my interest in the draft this year even though I know Kahn is going to screw it up.

What is going to be interesting about Kahn drafting Trevor Mbakwe?

Bank on it.

Mbakwe got granted eligibility for another year of college ball. He will be on the Gophers next season. They could be pretty good, granted he doesn't blow out his knee again.

Eh, his comments are just whatever. He's heated, not used to losing. End of the season, who cares. Let Pek go heal his ankle. he ain't tanking he's hurting. It would be hard to focus if I were Beas, AR, Wes, Webster, or D-Charge. They are all mentally exhausted at this point (scratch that, take out Wes. He is a 12 year old he was not cared less about any of this). they are playing like shit and have done so for most of the season. Some of their careers are in jeopardy, they will all be losing money as a result of this shitty season.

Oh yea. Hey Barea, if you're coming back, how about coming back in shape this time so you aren't injured the whole year? There's a start phuck boy.

Yes! Fantastic post, solid points all around.

Bytheway, Jim Peterson said during Sunday night's game that "JJ Barea is a pretty good defender". He now has no credibility to me. I swear when the Wolves were winning J Pete wasn't too bad this year, but the last few months he & Hanney have resorted back to their homerish, apologist, spin artist ways.

Bonk - The game actually had an ok atmosphere. I was surprised. Not much else to report, sadly. I think any NBA fan is like us: eager for the playoffs to start.

The Jazz play the Suns tonight. Huge game for both teams. The good news for us is that the Suns finish against San Antonio and the Jazz finish against Portland. I think Utah owns the tiebreaker so as long as the Jazz win 1 of their last 2 they are in regardless of what happens with Pho.

It would be a pretty big surprise if we didn't get the pick that will be traded back 45 times to pay for Darko's buyout 16th pick.
