Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Woo Hoo!

ps - C Wolf, Why can't we comment on these like most of the Hoops Manifesto voting threads? I want to rip that Lakers guy for voting Mitch Kupcheck for GM of the Year?!?!

I'd go w/ Bynum. His improvement has had the biggest impact.

Why did Presti get a vote? He hasn't done anything all year. At least Kupchak made some nice trades at the deadline, but the fact that he got a vote is kind of a joke as well.

Lakers homers FAIL.

Looks legit. I would have that same rookie team.

Yeah, definitely. Lots of good rookies. The least deserving is Brandon Knight, and even then he still had an 'ok' season. 2nd team isn't too bad a place for him.

Here's Daddy's favorite awards.

Personally, I don't like Tyson Chandler as defensive player of the year. Give it to KG or Iggy imo. The Knicks were not an elite defense. Just because they were SO TERRIBLE last year, does that mean Tyson gets all the credit for making them somewhat decent? He's no KG.

Tyson Chandler's acceptance speech was hilarious, therefore he can have the award.

Ryan Anderson won the MIP? THIS is why these individual awards are so dumb. There is NO criteria to win anything, just random opinions driven by groupthink, originating by whoever has the loudest, most influential opinion at the moment.

I'm glad Jeremy Lin didn't win it at least. Surprising pick.

Pek was the obvious choice. I think the voting panel was going for guys who maintained a relatively clean bill of health the full season, or were paid off by Ryan Anderson's (aka Kevin Love Jr) agent.

Pek can win it next year when he averages a consistent 20 and 10 after foot surgery.

To put this into perspective, Andrew Bogut, who regressed in every statistical category and played in 12 games, recieved a vote.
