If KG retired today, Al would have to play 82 games each season for 10 years with the following averages to surpass KG:

That would be one HECK of a 10 year stretch!!

Not to take anything away from KG at all - he is the greatest pro-athlete ever in my opinion in regards to all-around talent, attitude, character, etc. But I could see Jefferson coming close to those numbers. Again, the fact that it would take him a decade to even get there is a testament to Garnett. However, I could see Jefferson being a 20 point, 10 reboud guy for the next 10 seasons. The assists is probably where he'd fall short of matching KG. And he would have to stay healthy. Either way, he may match Garnett's numbers, but he's never going to be better than him.
