My guess is something like \"not good.\"
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I got a response back from the guy that wrote the article. He edited the article and it is much better now. Only one \"Twolvesblog\" reference, plus a disclaimer:

The article is down, as is the entire members section. It was a good idea in theory that just never played out well.

I agree that it was a great idea. Honestly, I thought it would be more of a hit and take off with some quality stuff. Oh well, can't win em all. :side:

Thanks Derok.

Unfortunately, I think its probably for the best...I still can't believe someone from celticsblog found that article and wrote a response but...

Here are Kevin Garnett's Career Statistics:

Points: 19,041
Rebounds: 10,542
Assists: 4,146
Steals: 1,282
Blocks: 1,576

Al Jefferson's Career Stats

Points: 2,046
Rebs: 1,367
Assists: 142
Steals: 100
Blocks: 207

If KG retired today, Al would have to play 82 games each season for 10 years with the following averages to surpass KG:

20.8 Points
11.2 Rebounds
4.9 Assists
1.5 Steals
1.7 Blocks

That would be one HECK of a 10 year stretch!!

Wow... that was an amazingly astute observation. Very well done. That would be ridiculous if Big Al could get anywhere near that! If he does, it would be a great trade for sure, but I'm not gonna hold my hat on it.

Totally agree. This may have happened to me a little too... but I think a lot of the \"fans\" in Minnesota were really taking KG for granted the past few seasons. :(

Not to take anything away from KG at all - he is the greatest pro-athlete ever in my opinion in regards to all-around talent, attitude, character, etc. But I could see Jefferson coming close to those numbers. Again, the fact that it would take him a decade to even get there is a testament to Garnett. However, I could see Jefferson being a 20 point, 10 reboud guy for the next 10 seasons. The assists is probably where he'd fall short of matching KG. And he would have to stay healthy. Either way, he may match Garnett's numbers, but he's never going to be better than him.

It's certainly possible, 20-10 is far from out of the question...Zach Randolph posts them. Big Al's health is the key as you mentioned. Can his legs handle 82 games for 10 seasons without major injury?

I hope so, but you're right on another thing, he is a long way from being the type of all around person Kevin Garnett was while he was in Minny...
