Yeah, it looks like the 'Wolves are going to sign a guy who hasn't played in two years to start at PG. Good luck with that.

I'm gonna guess that Rubio will be the starting PG, just a guess. Roy is more like a SG.

Rubio won't be back until like January. And especially since there is obviously no reason to rush him back.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Excuse the brain fart. I meant SG. Still wondering how Rubio is progressing?

Oops! Didn't see your post, CW, before mentioning I was still wondering what Rubio's prognosis was.

You're saying there is no reason to rush him back . . . . .because? Seems like a really long recovery period, even for that type of surgery. Must have been worse than what I had thought it was.

It's not hte worst injury in the world, but he's young and we suck. There's just no reason to rush him back.

I'm reading between the lines here that Kahn's only move prior to the start of today's draft was #18 for Budinger? My condolences.

I see Kahn gave you guys another reason to villify him. With your only pick in the first 2 rounds, he gets you a Hummel figurine.

Already had 2 ACL injuries and has a bad back - should fit right in! Probably made of porcelin as well. Watch him shatter the first time he falls down!

From this article: www.sbnation.com/nba-draft/2012/6/29/312...rnets-kings-warriors

"Minnesota Timberwolves

Traded No. 18 (Terrence Jones) to Rockets for Chase Budinger, drafted Robbie Hummel No. 58

Alright, here we go.

This is David Kahn. This is exactly what David Kahn is. He is a man that makes rash, barely defensible decisions, and then piles more barely defensible decisions on top of them. He turns quarters into dimes like no one else. He is a volunteer fire department that sets itself on fire. He has botched enough attempts to add help on the wings (Wes Johnson, Martell Webster) that he had to give up a first-round pick for a recent second-round pick who had been knocked back in the rotation by a rookie Chandler Parsons.

This isn't overpaying. This is just throwing money at a fire and watching it burn. This is buying hedge clippers on QVC when you need to cut up a baguette and can't find a knife.

Budinger might be a nice fit -- he knows Rick Adelman's system, and he can fly. But he was not worth anything remotely close to the No. 18 days before the deepest draft in years. Chase Budinger or players like him are not going to disappear behind lock and key if you don't pull the trigger two days before the draft. Stop panicking, man. Breathe, homey. You're making things worse. GRADE: D"

He's the worst.

He's also retarded.

I'm sure of it.
