This reaks of the #16 for Webster 2 years ago. I don’t like it. There is potential to do better with that pick. It is a deep draft. Or to package it with D-Will or something else for a better player. Budinger is not making more than a small difference on this team. Wouldn’t you rather roll the dice on a guy like Royce White than just acquire Chase Budinger. I hope this isn’t true.

yes Budinger is good, but i'd rather have teh #18 pick for a better trade asset. To me a pick in this year draft is worth more than Budinger. Money has to be an issue with Martin correct? Why not #18, Ellington,and Miller for Martin/Budinger. Everyone knows that Houston wants cap space so they can sign Lee(and potentially sign howard if they pull off that trade)Just like that our starting lineup would have been set. Rubio/Martin/Budigner/Love/Pek. That would for sure get us a 6,7, or 8 seed. Can we fire Kahn and sign Larry Bird?

ok so i really like budinger personally, and he fills a big need. and i am sorta ok with the trade if it happens, but we better have more going then just this.......

So where is Adelman/Kahn trading Derrick Williams? Budinger just took all of those minutes. If we follow this trade up with getting a high quality defensive starting SG like Iggy/Turner for Williams I won't be as mad. But just Budinger does nothing for this team except kill any dream Derrick Williams fans had of him playing SF/PF for the wolves. Which means that trading Williams has to happen yesterday already. Value will be completely gone after this year.

ok so he could start at SF and be affective, but who will be our SG? i would love to say Roy, and give him 20-25 min a game, but can he stay healthy?

Given that Kahn had a chance to ship D Will for Martin and Budinger and turned it down, I think we should all stop discussing D Will trade ideas. He is not going anywhere. I agree with CW, Kahn will wait too long yet again.

Got my coffee, turned on ESPN and saw that you had picked up Budinger for the #18. Immediately wondered what you all thought of this trade .

in a vacuum, this looks good. C-Buddy is a fine player and will excel next to Rubio, Love, and Pek. We know Adelman don't want anymore rookies and the team needs to win now. Gotta be an Adelman move. But that can't be it. Poor D-Charge is screwed because Adelman won't play him over Buddy. Sort of weird. I'm not mad because the dust has not settled. We'll see what else happens. It's like a lateral move but who knows what else is to come. I'll keep waiting.

I also find this hilarious since CH spent the last month pouring out advanced stats on each prospect for the #18 pick only to see it traded. ha.

I am seriously concerned about a lawsuit against the Wolves. This has to be deliberate...how many more white guys can they add? There will be a lawsuit. I am really hoping they get JJ Redick now.

I will be very disappointed if this is true. I guess we have a nice volleyball combo with Love and Budinger now.
