Like I said, didn't take a rocket scientist to not draft McCants/Flynn/Lessly Johnson/Williams/etc

Yup. I hated the fact that we had a fatty slow white boy instead of the next Ray Allen...My how I was wrong.

And I didn't want Cousins or Johnson. I can't remember who I was an advocate for that year. Probably someone else terrible.

I wanted Greg Monroe, and then Udoh.

Thirdly, I wanted us to take Cousins just so that we could trade him. Wasn't stoked about drafting and keeping Cousins.

Monroe... he's freakin good. That sucks for us. :(

Udoh! I bet that was it. Monroe, man that would be a decent three-hombre rotation of Pek, Love, and Monroe. No defense, but great offense.

I still can't stand Cousins: Surely talented (and make some points in a bad team) but immature, lazy, non-defending.... He wouldn't play any minute under Rick Adelman anyway!

It would have been terrific to get Valanciunas or Klay Thopmson, Kawhi Leonard or the Mannimal instead of Williams, Monroe or George instead of Wes. But we haven't. Drafting is always a luck-game and Kahn surely isn't that lucky (as it isn't the T-Wolves in general).

But the Johnny-thing is way the worst, cause the other draft are quite weak (I mean even John Wall sucks... & the 2011 draft wasn't obviously that strong either), but the 2009 draft was LOADED, especially with PGs.:

Ty Lawson, Steph Curry, Darren Collison, Roddy Buckets, Jrue Holiday, Jennings, Jeff Teague, eric Maynor, Nando De Colo, Paddy Mills, Wesley Matthews - Absurd...

And there where other nice players, too: DeMar DeRozan, Taj Gibson, Chase Budinger, Jonas jerebko, Dante Cunningham, Gerald Henderson, Psycho-T, DeJuan Blair, Marcus Thornton, Danny Green, Alonso Gee.

At least we hadn't took Thabeet with the 2nd!
